I remember playing this with my dad, he wouldn't press the accel. button after the nitrous charged, nitrous was the throttle. I can't help but get emotional hearing "Autopilot off - Make a Sound" with takedown sfx in the background, I miss you big man.

Weve all said it, just amazing.. burnout 3 is still as good as ever, 19 years old and still better than todays games! Music is great and makes you just wanna go faster! Good job for the upload, many memories being relived thank you :) hope they bring this back!

I just bought it for less than 10 bucks at GameStop. Platinum edition with great condition case.

Been meaning to watch this video for a while now but finally got around to it today and wasn't disappointed. Amazing work man! I do have other records you can try to beat but I kinda wanna let other peeps have a turn if they have any records. Again though, great stuff and lots of close calls like in my run!

246 Island Southbound, nice. The other day i tried the US Circuit Racer on Silverlake Southbound, 166 takedowns, i honestly didn't think I'd get past 50 and next thing i new i was at 100.

Totally useless data I've collected and not checked from this one. You made a total of: 46 Signature Takedowns, all rumble in the jungle and none take the tour bus You made a total of 9 double takedowns, no preference for a spot Your longest streak was 122 takedowns You did 224 Wall takedowns, 18 Psyche out and 4 trafick takedowns, 3 big rigs and 1 car Lastly, I'm not completely sure, but I think your score it's unique! Means, you had to do the exact amount of Signature takedowns, resets of rampage and double takedowns to be able to get into that score :p

Did you forget to enable widescreen in the BIOS menu? Burnout 3 natively supports it, you just have to boot the emulator without a rom and enable it.

Bro, what's your biggest road rage record EVER ? I mean, on any map with any car. I'll buy a ps2 next month and I wanna try to beat your biggest takedown score, and I wanna do it on the same map with the same car as you to "be fair" ( great video btw, keep up with the burnout 3 content pls )

I have one video scheduled for next week which is my highest (recorded) attempt. Car: Super Type 2 Track: Riviera Southbound Takedowns: 261 I was running with an additional challenge of running the clock down but if you are able to achieve the takedowns and crash out, I'd say that counts as a solid attempt too haha

@@leandroroberto1007 Don't quite recall haha, used to play on the PS2 but that was at least 15 years ago. I'm now playing on the PCX2 emulator so I am taking this as a restart and having recorded attempts so it is more official

I've noticed quite a few times than an AI will just be parked on the side of the road sometimes.

Happens a lot, I believe its just the AI reconfiguring itself since the AI in B3 functions like a "hive-mind" so to speak. So typically they spawn in groups of 3, but if I miss out one of them, then this "outsider AI" will need to "regroup" and it takes awhile before it does that. That is just speaking from experience but I'm not sure if extensive research/evidence has been done on this

I saw your amazing talent. So are you trying to break my best record? 95 Takedowns in Tropical Drive Eastbound and i use Compact Prototype Without using turbo. Can you do this?

Imaging actually LIKING takedown cam forever... After a while all it seems to do is impede gameplay.

To be fair, it does make it more satisfying when taking down rivals. Also since most world records are set with takedown cam off, I might as well take this as a challenge and set a standard for records with takedown cam on, makes it more fun :)

I do use it when I start a new campaign but disable it once the grind for the final unlocks comes. It satisfying to use it and it will sometimes get you out of tough situations

So basically burnout 3 is burnout legends from PSP with different OST (worse in my opinion) and worse graphics ? But OFC still a very good game because is the same

Yup. Burnout Legends is basically like Burnout 3 but with Burnout 2 content (soundtrack is still nostalgic for me), just with slight graphics downgrade.
