Realist comment I never realized why burnout paradise resonated with my 7 yr old brain til now

Something I personally wished for with the remaster was that there would be an option to have the cars still “exist” after you took them down; like you would occasionally see them zip by as your traveling, see them fly off the many jumps, or swap paint with another ai racer or something to at least make the game feel more “alive”. The game feels pretty barren when compared to the pedestrian cars that travel slowly and follow traffic laws and you get this weird sense of isolation until you find another driver with the same taste for reckless driving adrenaline as you - only for you to crush their car, jack their ride and never to be seen again. I mean the city felt set up to be some sort of oasis for adrenaline junkies, yet you feel like youre the only one there. Games still the shit tho

I wasn’t the biggest fan of having the cars randomly show up, since I could search for them for hours while driving an aggression car without seeing them once, but as soon as I’m trying out a fragile speed car, they suddenly pop out all “hehe come here and chase me lol”. It would have been cool if there was another event where you would have to chase one of these guys across the city and shut him down.

Its so amazing that there's no "boring" or useless car, every is unique and cool

The Hunter Spur is the most durable vehicle I have ever used in this game. You can flip it again and again and it keeps on rolling somehow. If you land it upside down and flatten it, it survives. Car equivalent to the Nokia 3310.

Tbh, i kinda miss the sound that when you take someone down, like in B3. Don't get me wrong,the sounds in BP are amazing, but, by sound, i can't tell the difference from take someone down or be taken out, since they're the same.

I still remember heading up to GameStop in the dead on winter, being one of the first few people in line when this came out!! It was back when games gave you that Awesome feelin, that you didn't have to seek. Shoot, me and brother still play it... 3:56 the Opus XS has to be one of the best cars I've driven. It's fast, surprisingly agile and can shred others that failed trying to take it down. XD

I think Revenge will always be the best, yeah it's pretty repetitive, and the "blurry graphics" can be changed by getting a job and buying a better monitor or TV which ever one you saved up your pocket money for. And "fuck off" dude you came at me, so don't make that mistake my friend.

9:47 Wow.....that's something I never even thought of doing that when I was doing my stunt runs

This is probably one of my favorite things to do in the game since I just search and then see a car that's abnormally fast and I'm like "huh that's funny" and I zoom a bit forward only to see a nice paint job car speeding. And its always fun exploring for them once you unlock them on the road

Who remembers Steel Wheels GT, the Circuit City Hot Rod, The Walmart WTR, the BestBuy Oval Champ, and the B'Z Ikusa?

I love how the 09' Oval Champ, LM Classic and the Opus, are both from Burnout Dominator, the Hot Rod Coupe is from Burnout Takedown. Same with the V16 Revenge. That's from Burnout Revenge. It's the most nostalgic Burnout game EVER and MAN, I miss all the Burnout games I had as a kid.

man, there's one mystery that always fucks me up about the watson v16 revenge. It looks just like the marussia B2. Normally, you might say "no shit, a lot of these cars look like real cars". Marussia B2 was first unveiled at the geneva motor show in 2009. Burnout Paradise came out in January 2008. Not only that, but the v16 revenge is a rebuild of the Prototype R205 GT (and the Revenge Racer obviously) from Burnout Revenge. A russian car manufacturer copied their design off of Burnout? That's kinda fucked up and I have a hard time believing that. Maybe it's just a huge coincidence, I don't know. But of all the cars that the v16 revenge has been compared to like the Elise GT1 or even a Ferrari Enzo, no car has really resembled the rear end... that is, other than the marussia. Just look at it, seriously.

The Watson V16 Revenge was actually made in Burnout Revenge (2005) hence the “Revenge” name. The vehicle was named differently in that game, I can’t remember the exact name. But you’re very right, the rear end on both the Marussia and the Watson 16 Revenge share similarities with the tailights, the V16 Revenge is actually based of a vehicle called the Gumpert Apollo which was released in around 2004, correct me if I’m wrong. Also sorry if my grammar sucks.

The Carson Opus was my whip in Paradise. I honestly would turn a 1970 Dodge Coronet or the Plymouth Roadrunner into a real life one.

I find it crazy that I was making a tune in Forza H5 about top speed and decided to paint the car all in carbon. When painting the car I reminded of this game because of the Carbon cars. 10 minutes later and I'm here.

That's why I dislike the Vegas because at least the Carnivale version is sensible

I allways love that you can hear the beat of the music when you'r chacing them..

I know that there are people who just realised,but the kreiger 616 sport is the burnout version of the bmw m3 gtr from nfs most wanted and carbon and that's my favourite car in the game Ps:thanks ea to remaster burnout paradise

I've played this game 3 years and already i didnt done. Great.

it’s been years but I just realised that when u take down a car, a sound will be made. Then, u can tell what type of car it is.

When it's a v8 it's a muscle car, when it's an i4 it's a sports car, when it's a racing engine sound (If this makes sense) it's a supercar or racecar, when it's an offtheline v8 it's the hot rod and when it's the f1 sound it's the f1 car
