Absolutely brilliant. I wish I had watched this before I just spent $200 on landscape fabric with pre burnt holes lol. But I have another roll of fabric that I will do custom with a little torch, without a template just like you did. Thank you so much. Just subscribed to your channel. Way to think outside the box!

Very helpful thank you. At the moment I am trying it without the landscape fabric but we will see how it goes. We added a 3x50 foot cut flower bed along a fence. Hoping I can keep it weed free.

What kind of ground cover do you use? Are all rubber ground covers alike? Burning the holes is onviously so much faster than cutting the holes! It took me FOREVER to finally get my flowers planted! Thanks again for another great video!! 😊

I'm so glad you made this video, this was the one that I was waiting on/worried about and I'll definitely do it this way! Also, our landscape fabric flew away one day - how many stakes do you pin it down with? And you take it off at the end of the season?

Just put down 125ft of 4ft fabric. Originally I was going to put a drip hose down prior to the cloth, but changed my mind and am going to lay it on top, at least for my dahlia's. Any advice on what way is best? Above or below the fabric?

I’m going to be adding some drip and soaker hoses this week and they will be on top. But I have also seen it on the bottom. I’m sure the bottom gets into the soil better, but I needed to get plants in the ground and didn’t have my irrigation figured out yet 😊😊

Holy smokes, I wish I would have seen this before I tried to burn holes in mine with a flame weeder, which was a total mess. Maybe I wasn’t letting it heat up enough, I don’t know, but it wasn’t burning the entire circle out and then the flame kept going out, but if I put it ton high, it would just burn big holes. I ruined a large portion before giving up and buying some with pre-made holes from Agfabric. It was quite a bit more expensive than this would have been. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I still have the original fabric I bought though, so i will definitely to things this way if I ever go to burn more pieces!
