Its all soooo much fun! Im also planting, planting and planting. I get the best ideas from you, like the lily's in crates. This will be my first year growing sunflowers. Wow! It's really coming along. Also up into 90's here. I planted into the evenings to try and work with the heat. Rabbits at my other area down the road ate all my globe amaranth, and broke off some snaps. Those waskly wabbits!! I've never sown my zinnia seeds in ground...always prestarted them. Will that be a later harvest for you?

Last year my direct down zinnias caught up with the presprouted and they all flowered the same time 🤣

We sale this Landscape/garden fabric with holes

Hey Christina! Quick question: when do you use landscape fabric and when do you skip it? I'm a new homeowner and trying to start my gardening journey this year. The garden beds at my house have been neglected for years and are overrun with weeds. I bought landscape fabric to help me combat the weeds, and picked out sunflowers for my first planting. But I noticed you didn't use the landscape fabric with your sunflower planting. Would I be making a mistake using the landscape fabric with my sunflowers? Thanks for the helpful video! ♥

I’ve always been told sunflowers are better without it but you could try some with and some without to see how it works. You could also lay down cardboard and put soil on top of that to grow in to suprrss the weeds. Also tarring the area over the winter helps

How do you water? By hand or do you set up drip?

I will set up drip in a couple spots and soaker hoses in others.
