Another superb diorama. That guardsman looks properly shell shocked, and holding on to the only thing that makes sense to him at that moment (both physically and probably mentally if Daemons are involved!)

Fire, laser, plasma, use LEDs, one of the best ways to get best, cool lighting, and real lighting on your dioramas. And yeah, the Salamanders are the most human, the most caring, and the one legion that knows above all they are NOT ABOVE the humans, they are made to serve and protect the humans above all. Also the legion in which it is most prevalent to still have contact with your family after you've become an Astartes. Think Ultramarines also have this but far less, and that is also probably about it ?

@@RIGMiniatures yup, there are enough ‘good’ chapters, especially after so many foundings, but none as caring or human, and yet, they love flamers and meltas most, which frankly are horrible weapons. And that coupled with the black faces. Contrast is high.

Awesome results. I would like to have seen how you constructed the flame. GW has a trilogy of books by Nick Kyme featuring Salamanders (collected into an omnibus by now I'm sure.) Looking forward to your next build.
