Ever since they changed the end of Plattsburgh Ave from two lanes to one, traffic is a mess

I miss it back home, but it is different now, parents passed away, aunts and uncles are getting old and can’t drive. Flatlamders have moved in and replaced many locals. Memories are still there though.

The only thing constant in life is change. I feel the same way but with the bay area. Instead of flatlanders coming in we've had transplants come in from the tech industry. Making things more expensive, and it drove out the flavor from our culture and locals. I guess all we can do is try to make a new future with new memories to eventually look back on them with great nostalgia.

I’m coming back in January. First time back in my home state in 5 years. What are some of the most drastic changes I’ll notice?

That Jolley store at the north end of North Ave usually has pretty high gas prices. (I'm there at least twice a week) Only 6 monhs ago, gas was $3.39 there. Depressing....

In Vermont? No. Local born "gang bangers" don't exist. They just copy what they see in pop culture and think they are tough. The only "real" ones are the ones that come from other states to push drugs and even those guys are punk ass bitches. They were small fish in a big pond so they come here where there is absolutely no competition and actual gang bangers to beat their asses.
