I think it's more the embers of having known love. Having known love is a powerful thing. It leaves a mark on you that never goes away. Like invisible ember's. It's like a kind of ecco that is similar to whale song. That's why it resonates so universally. Without language. It expresses better than words or actions ever could.

i always felt everything after Untrue was expanding that universe, after you listened to those tracks 1000 times you unlock the bigger areas with the 10 minute progressive tracks and such so you can go back to that world, but this time around you sink in deeper and there is new colours and flavours

The female vocal from 9:37 is just surreal, quite similar like the one in Nova. I wonder if it’s a sample from Teresa Teng, Burial reversed it and pitched up 2 to 3 semitones with a reverb on it. That’s an instant classic though! ❤❤❤
