This was played at my cousins funeral a few weeks ago. It was one of his favourite pieces of music. He died two weeks before Christmas due to a massive seizure from an inoperable brain tumour. He'd been having them for years and this one just punched his ticket. They played this while photos of him through his life were shown, with all his travels and adventures and everyone just broke. It was awful having to wear a mask and not being able to hug people and try and comfort them properly. His name was Daniel and he was a really great guy, I have some awesome memories of him and we shared music together whenever we could. Godspeed mate. You can rest now. Take it easy Dan. We'll look after the place for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss... This song reminds me of my cousin who we lost in November 2020. Not a day goes by I don't think about her and this song was the icing on top. They are somewhere beautiful and free of pain, Rest Easy,until we meet again...🖤

Life goes by so fast. I remember being in high school hearing creep. Now I have a little girl. She is so beautiful and soft and sweet. I tell her how much I love her. I on purpose squeeze her too tight so that she giggles and breaths out, Daddy! I didn't like children and when I saw her enter this world they all became mine. I hope you go hard in this life. To the top! Don't stop... Jesus Christ found me when I wasn't looking for him. So fast the time that flies by. I hope you see this old man's mind. Time will go on by. Find peace find Christ

Perhaps we can each take some comfort knowing they are both somewhere removed from all this craziness, somewhere beautiful and free of pain as you put it. I like that. Love at first listen. My first emotions after listening to both songs were of annoyance and dismay, how could I be consuming four tet, radiohead and burial for years and not be recommended this mini album on spotify? I was then left in wonder, what if the album was longer, like a standard one? 7-8 songs? Would it still have maintained the same wonderful surreal soundscape? Probably, but I love that it adheres to the less is more adage. It reminds me of the collab between James blake and Kendrick lamar, just by sheer excellence. An unlikely duo that came up with the timeless black panther OST. Just incredible.
