Thom may have grabbed the world by its cold corporate half-dead industrial heart with Kid A, but my god what a true artist he remains, how consistent he’s been in making these densely layered textural sonic landscapes half made of pieces from your own world and half some nebulous inner sanctuary. This music manages to sound alien yet nostlgic. Sometimes feels like you’re wandering around a David Lynch film. It’s hard to tell where Thom ends and the other artists begin, but gotta be thankful to have music like this to seep your soul into at the start or end of a day like a meditative repose into some misty spring, your sense of self swallowed into shadows. You might sit in your pristine beach flat drinking expensive single origin coffee, gazing out in awe at the expanse of early dawn ocean horizon, or you may sit in some renegade dusty apartment beside a clogged innerstate artery of some industrially abandoned inner city where the coffee tastes like motor oil and dirt and the dawning sun is blocked by the towering brick apartment building the next street over...and find equally enduring escape into this music.

my grandma recently passed and the sound of the sitar makes me think of her. she would have felt at home upon hearing it after years of being far away from her homeland. she would have also loved thom york’s vocals as well. i can still see her white headscarf and dress flowing in the wind.

I simply soar through the cosmos at hyper speed visiting diffrrnt dimensions. LSD I mastered. I'm grateful to source the real. Orange sunshine from the sunshine family in Humboldt. #deadheads LSD is much more intuitive for me, dmt is legit Blast off. I love being altered for a period of time, a short burst is fun also ❤️
