I like the new "Auto" mode you can add to the Smart System. I replaced the Tour + mode with Auto on my Trek Powerfly FS9.

I was looking this over with my Dad. He’s been taken with the Moustache J, but he saw this at the shop and is thinking this may be the one.

I don't know if it's also the intended purpose, but the small reinforcement bar you point out around the 55 second mark (near the bottom of the V) is also useful for lifting step thru frames off the ground. It might also mitigate the need for an adapter cross bar on vehicle bike racks.

Oh yeah! I think you’re talking about the bungee loop at the bottom of many rear racks. It’s a convenient and secure place to connect the end of a bungee cable or strap to secure bags and cargo on the sides and top :D

Hello Court, I have been watching your reviews for years now and bought an E bikes based on your reviews, Haibike Xduro full seven, in 2017 I still use the bike and the Bosch system has been very reliable and more important I can still buy parts from Bosch for my bicycle even though its older now. Looking to buy a commuter bicycle, and the Canyon Procede On is at the top of my list, at only 2000$ it's a bargain compared to my Haibike, what are your thoughts on the Canyon procede on ?

Nice! That looks like a great ebike. I haven’t seen it in person. But I have reviewed other Canyon models before and enjoyed them. It’s great to hear about your Haibike being so reliable, and Bosch supplying parts. That has been my experience with my Uncle and his Haibike too :D

He definitely does not just review high end E-Bikes. He's done plenty of models in the $2000 price range in the past 6 months. Also consider that many affordable E-Bikes are online sales only which would mean he'd either have to be sent the bike to review for free or buy the bike himself.

I mix high and low end bikes, whatever is interesting, and I don’t get paid or take commission. A few years ago I charged a flat service fee to help with expenses, but the first 8 years were all free and the past couple of years have also been free :)

If I was going to spend over $5000 on an ebike then it should go over 60mph and get me at least 100 miles on throttle only . Way way too expensive for what it is !!!

It's not a moped, motorcycle or car. It's a bike.
