I'm so glad you did this video! I'm 35 and started with very weak wrist joints (tendonitis very easily etc) and the past few months, I start every work out on my hands and feet, gently stretching fingers and wrists (and feet/ankles) It's a must for anyone prone to wrist pain or strain. My rule is that my hands and wrists don't feel tight, and the popping noises have subsided, and then I'm ready to safely do a challenging workout. Cheers 🩵✌️

I have small wrists, small bones, have broken all of the bones in the right hand and wrist when in elementary school and the same wrist in two places in late teens. Supposing that these bones have not become terribly strong, I also over-did skull crushers with a 25Lb dumbbell and am max 120lbs female (usually around 55 kilos) and hyper extended my wrist. Even though I experienced discomfort, I did it again when discomfort subsided. Totally not smart, but I did and now have a bulging tendon on my inner wrist below my thumb. Merde! Have a doc appt for physio referral but also know that I’ll have to strengthen wrists and just play it smarter. Thanks for the vid. I’ll do these and see what else can help and anticipate that physio will solve - and maybe other therapies.

Great stuff, and really similar to a Gymnastics Method prehab routine that has helped keep my wrists/elbows feel fresh on pretty much a daily basis. Would recommend either to anyone that doesn't have some wrist work in their warm-up routine. Pairs really well with some scap circles/scap pushups to get the rest of the upper body warmed up too

Do you still recommend these for those with very loose wrists? What do you recommend and not to do? my wrists are so loose, my hand pops up and down. So when I'm mountain biking I miss corners, cus I can't use the brakes properly. But wrist braces have solved this issue. For me wrist mobility is not an issue, but wrist misalignment is.

Hey Daniel! I've developed a (pretty large) ganglion cyst on my right wrist which is really annoying me. A local nurse told me that they go away in time if I make sure to not stress the joint but that it could take months or years. I haven't done anything new the last few months (it's been there for months), but it hurts when I extend and flex (especially extend). Do you have any experience with this and what can you recommend I do?

I would see a physio for something like that. Some painkillers and a leg/knee brace might be a good place to start. Keep knee mobility simple and safe. Place gradual weight on it, be extra careful when the knee moves side to side.
