Just a simple one this week as I have a few big melts coming out and I haven’t done keys in almost 15 months. Nothing too exciting today as I was pretty busy this week but I always make sure to release a vid regardless👊🏻😁. Still a pretty long one So enough time to turn the brain off and unwind from the crazy world we live in. It's so relaxing, I always fall asleep when watching these videos 😅

We had a tragedy in our family last monday. Our belowed italian waterdog Rory passed away after only eight years due to his femoral prothesis dislocated beyond recovery. He was put to sleep with myself and my wife by his side, we owed him that. Never thought I could cry so hard for a dog I never asked for in the first place. Seeing you and your friends enjoy each other week after week has always warmed my heart and calls me to remind you to enjoy, cherish and value every moment you spend together. As such a small being managed to take up so much space in our lives, I cannot even begin to fathom how huge of a void your companions could leave. Love them and show it to them as you do all the time. Keep you channel rolling no matter what.

One might argue, that the KEY to a good video, is a good thumbnail. Mission aKEYmpleshed. I'll go back to my corner now.

I really like the night melts. It shows just how hot the stuff gets. Hard to tell in the light of day, but at night that bright cherry red of the crucible is telling.

Idk why but I find watching you ripping things apart and then melting them extremely satisfying

The dropbears may stay away from the light, but the jabberwocky doesnt give a shit...

Quite a haul from the mail call this episode! For some reason I particularly enjoy these.

The key collector in me is screaming at the melting of all those different looking keys and skeleton keys. But I hope they create a good addition to the Stack! Jokingly said, can I have all the steel skeleton keys that didn't make the cut? 😶‍🌫

If I didn't live so far away from Australia, and postage wasn't through the roof; I would be sending tons of stuff. It looks as though others are picking up my slack. Seriously, I find so much good metal scrap. It all gets donated to my neighborhood scrappers as I am too old to tear apart scrap these days.

You should get a cnc builder to sponsor you, Think a highpowerd cnc with laser/water/plasma cuter head blasting down on the bars or coins etc. Crispy edges, your own designs etc the posabilities 🤩

Hi big, just be aware that many brass alloys for industrial purposes contain lead (plumbum) up to 3%. I recommend to wear a protection mask when melting brass. Your vids are great 😀

Watching these really help in learning different and better ways to cast these metals and soon when i can get a better crucible (other than a 1/4 inch thick steel fire extinguisher) and some longer tongs itll be pretty much a golden run for melting and casting peices

You should try purifying copper at some point to make an extremely shiny coin or bullion. The simplest way is through copper electrolysis.

Lots of corrosion on the brass, I'd have to wire wheel it first to clean it up.

"Unfortunately, I don't know where the key is for these" If I learned anything from LockpickingLawyer, then that for Master Locks, using a key is absolutely optional and one of the slower approaches to open them.

The brass ingots look like gold to the untrained eye, like mine 😜 Also the sand like slag amazes me, it looks so weird to see that powdery stuff you skim off.

Sapporo is one of my all time favorite beers. I'm starting to love the fan mail section a lot.
