We were invited to Bulgaria by "Our Home is Bulgaria" to explore the country for the first time this year and it was an amazing experience to travel through this space with so much history and diverse landscapes. Some of the places we feature here are the Seven Rila Lakes, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak, Belogradchik Fortress, Devetashka cave, and Mount Buzludzha.

Term "Macedonia" is a Greek word and means " tall man". The true meaning of the word Bulgaria is: "Rebel With a Cause" or metaphorically speaking: "Stormy Petrel". We have a lot of in common between us, but the only difference is that you support our big enemy - the Serbs and this really annoying the Bulgarians! Bulgarians were Christians from the very beginning of the Christianity! They had the privilege to receive the religion directly from the Apostles, but after the Armenians and Greeks! Few people know the fact that when the Greeks baptize Russians, they leave books in Old Bulgarian, which is a great proof of what a huge role the Greeks, the Bulgarians and their Bogomil movement played in the spread of Christianity in Eastern Europe! After that, many bookmen and priests in Kievan Russia and Lithuania who preached the word of God were Bulgarians, such as Metropolitan Cyprian, Metropolitan Gregory Tsimbalak and others. We should mention the fact that the great work of the Thessaloniki brothers St. Cyril and Methodius, who are Greeks in origin, gives the foundations of Slavic literacy and culture! Later they will be honoured as the Apostles to the Slavs. Encyclopædia Britannica 📖: "Slavic linguistic unity was to some extent visible as late as Old Church Slavonic (or Old Bulgarian) manuscripts which, though based on local Slavic speech of Thessaloniki, could still serve the purpose of the first common Slavic literary language. Slavic studies began as an almost exclusively linguistic and philological enterprise. As early as 1833, Slavic languages were recognized as Indo-European." As the Greeks know, so we Bulgarians know, together with the whole civilized world that there is NO Macedonian nation in the true sense of the word! This is ONLY a political created nation by the Comintern and Stalin in 1944, just to make Bulgarians weaker, controlled and divided, same as Romanians with their lost land Moldova. This has always been only a term for geographical affiliation, which grew into a nationality during the Tito regime, so that the Bulgarians in the former Yugoslavia could be more easily separated from their roots and homeland as some fake "Macedonians", but meaning which should no longer mean a term describing Bulgarians from Macedonian region. God bless both nations indeed! ☦️🦁🇧🇬💕🍀🇬🇷🏛️☦️

Same religion, same traditions, you visit us and rob our supermarkets and we go to visit your lovely beaches 😂 Even the Bulgarian language has a similar syntax to Greek. Our physical features are quite alike and we share the same history together for a long, long time.

@@user-tv8pe6rg5g The folk dances are at 7 Rila lakes in the Rila mountain, the "eyes' are from the Devetashka or Prohodna cave in Rodope mountain, the rock formations are from Belogradchick fortress, there is also Rojen and Rila monestsries, the water fall is may be the ",Raysko praskalo" or "Skaklia", the monument with the warriors is above the town of Shoumen, the golden dome church is the Russian church near the peak Shipka....

I hope you get the chance. i'm ftom Bulgaria, and EVERYTHING is amazing about our country, execpt the political situation. It is pretty bad, but everything else is AMAZING. The nature is breath taking, the history and culture are really rich, the food is fabuolus!

My heart is bleeding too, when i read something like this. ....we should and have to open the door to help people in syria. we are living in one of the richest country in the world, but we are doing NOTHING. 7snZain if u want freedom and peace....try to come here....tears in my eyes. ....we see it in tv what happend to u...and noone is interesting in it. its so awful to see this....we are all humans and everyone have the same priority to live....i will bet 4 for u and i hope u will flee to be someday here or there were people live in freedom and peace

When I saw this of 4k big screen I was gone. One of the best 4k, 8k video on the internet. Bulgaria is damn good.

i think this is really one of the best or the best 8k HDR Video there on youtube, even one of the must seen beautifully room on earth but and in the past one of the deepest failed european cultures and she was deeply depressed in the worst of Wars . And now this people come back to power, the holy brain of europe is really there in this landcape. I can scan here this essence of power. And this i say it as 63 year old man from switzerland, but living only one of the smallest power region on earth. But we from switzerland has the sharp brain to see whats on on the world. And now you can see it to and more you can see the birth of the Great inside and on the root of the holly european past . Shut your eye dirctly after seeing this video and you has stuff to dream your future.

Bulgaria is the birthplace of Cirilyc alphabet and First independent Orthodox church recodnised by the Pope and Byzantine empire as 3rd official religion in Europe...both happened in 9th century, so all ''slavic'' orthodox countries were teached both in reading and writing and in religion from bulgarian priests and teachers in church bulgarian language from 9th century (Thats why ''slavic'' languages are so similar to each other - they all have one root that they grow from). :) Greetings from BG

@@uhiaan I live in USA and haven't been to Bulgaria for 7 years . It's on my to do list though and I'll probably go this January. I wanna see Ruse where my grandfather was stationed during the ww2 and I wanna visit Edirne in Turkey where my great-grandfather died during the Balkan wars.

Many thanks, you must have seen with your own eyes, that socialism was not that bad, some powerful people and cooperations, made it look that bad. But anyway, you saw our herritage, no offense but this trully is the biblical heaven on earth. The problem today is that we destroy it....I hope me and my bulgarian brothers and sisters will stop this and start rebuilding it!
