When I listened to this song for the first time, I had never felt so emotional or at peace with a song like this before. I'm a lover of all music and have a special place for all of them in my heart. I have some emotional connections to songs but nothing greater than this. I remember sitting and listening to this for the first time, I could not stop listening to it, I had it on repeat for about 4 hours or so. I felt like I was floating through space and time, thinking about my life and where I am now and how I got here, not having a care in the world. I thought the lyrics were so beautiful and elegant, it fits the overall tone of the song perfectly. Throughout the last few months after this song was released, I had been going through some rough times in that moment in my life. I felt so down and upset at myself. I didn't know what to do. One night, laying in bed, I decided to play this song. Remembering how calm and comforting it sounded. I figured it would help me feel better, I guess it just struck a chord with me or triggered something inside me because I had never cried harder to a song like this. I related to the lyrics so much that I just cried my eyes out. I finally understand the meaning of the lyrics. I don't know how to describe it but to me this song just brings so much peace and tranquility in my soul when I hear the first harmonies and synths. It brings chills up my spine every time. It's like all of my troubles and worries are being pushed away by the sound. Skybourne's singing just sounds so comforting in this piece, like someone reaching out to you saying that "everything will be okay." Listening to it now, whenever this song pops up randomly on my playlist, I can't help but stop what I'm doing and just listen, and think. It brings a somber peace now really analyzing the lyrics and how much they mean to me. Honestly, you two make the best music. Your chemistry is so refreshing to hear through your music, and I just want to thank you. I don't know where I would be if I hadn't found your channel. I found it back in 2014 and I'm so proud of you for how your channel has become. Your music is always so unique, and different. You always bring a new mix to your songs and I'm still eager to listen to more. You have such amazing talent, please keep up the good work because your music has always brought me comfort in a way. Until then thank you again, and I hope that you are doing well. See you soon my friend… It's your heart and soul, it's your flesh and bones. Don't you let it go…❤
