Wow, that door design is very intriguing. Ive been working on a shelter and the door has been the biggest problem. Im thinking of doing a wooden frame with a woven reed interior. And that hand auger just made me realize exactly what i want to do with it. Loved the vid!

Obviously the way you create your bunker is completely individual. I'm quite impressed with the simplicity of your design, However, the way you choose the tools to carry when survival in the forest is very flexible. I also know that to survive, you need persistence and endurance. We were born from nature, returning to nature is something that all of us should try. Well done old friend.

I am going to make one in my back yard. Lots of trees and mud.

In one vid he posted this year, he returned to an older build he'd made to grab some supplies and stuff he'd left in that previous build (i.e. a tarp, scrap metal pipe, etc.). I think it was his above ground fishing hut he'd built to combat sudden water levels rising in that area.

That video you made of heading back to civilization spooked me…. I was afraid we wouldn’t see any new fantastic shelter building videos….. glad I was wrong 👍

The work he does is great however I saw the way the North Vietnamese Soldiers worked the earth doing tranches,the walls were straight and pretty 😊as picture perfect. They were patient on On the other hand we dug foxholes that were just holes. This guy is very good at using branches and logs to make the shelter.

Another great shelter build Cyprien! Maybe add a front porch made of sticks infront of the door with a staircase so that it's not difficult for you to go up and down of the shelter. Just an idea.

Usually you try to build a very basic shelter enough to keep wind and most of the rain off you then you move from there but yeah they take about 2-3 days depending how much work and effort you put in
