Building the Ramp Truck Bed Part 2 - 1959 REO Gold Comet
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
We continue with fabrication of the ramp truck/car hauler bed frame. In this round I get the main structure completed. I also make radiused box section pieces to form wheel arches and apply the same technique to form curved corners for the ramp truck bed.

Good to see another Diff production.
Looks great...
Looking good m8 keep up the good work
I really admire the thorough, well-thought-out process you take to the fabrication of the ramp bed. The beavertail angle determination and rear wheel curvatures were just outstanding. And the tip for bolting and attaching the bed to the frame instead of drilling and welding it to the frame are spot on. I will use these tips when I build my own ramp truck!

Hey Div, That little bit of extra time really paid off ! Those curves look great. That little up sweep adds a bit of a vintage flair so it looks like it was built when people had pride in their work. You did good ! I enjoy seeing stuff like that done and it inspires me to do that kind of work on my projects. Thank you. Take Care

Hey Diff, always fun to watch you work. You're way more ambitious than I am. I would have segmented they wheel arches and called it a day!:) But I do much prefer the nice graceful round arches. Here in Wisconsin, at 7:30 AM, it's a wonderful -14 degrees F. We just got over 20" of snow last week, ending on Saturday morning. Fortunately no snow for about five days so I'll have time to clear everything including the roof. Yes, we have to shovel the roof😢. All three projects are "cool man" and I'm always looking forward to which one you'll be on next. Thanks for the videos and ideas I can steal for my projects!!😅
Hey Diff , always enjoy watching you put your skills to use! Great tip on making that marking gauge too, why buy one when you can make one out of scrap that you have laying around the shop! Have a great week my friend!
Excellent job on that ramp truck Dif. Those curves really turned out nice.

Hey, thanks!
Your attention to detail is second to none.
Great job my friend. I really like how you take into account the curves of the cab to do your design instead of just slapping on a flatbed and calling it good. Just cause it’s going to be used for work, doesn’t mean it can’t look good. And this is more than good.👍🏻 👍🏻

Coming along beautifully! Love the curved corners. Can’t wait to see how that chair helped you ponder the solution to the sliding ramp question. 😊👍👍
It's always a pleasure watching you
Wow nice work. Are you going to pick up elephants with that truck. It's certainly going to be strong. Nice curve over the wheel
It’s going to be unique and special. Looking forward to your first haul!
The ramp truck is coming along nicely 👍👍
Love your ramp truck. I'd love to build a beaver tail rig like yours.
Nice job again explaining the process as you go.
This channel may not be for the misophonia sufferer, but brou is an _amazing_ fabricator.
I really enjoy watching you fabricate what you see in your mind's eye, I have built a few truck beds so I have first-hand knowledge of the extraordinary attention you apply to your work, Talent like yours is in today's world, my friend, Keep doing what you do. I'll keep watching

If you cut out a circle 30cm in diameter and drill a hole the size of your pencil at the 15 cm mark (center) it makes following a curve easier.
Cant wait to see what you do for ramps , should be an easy go for you !!😊
Mr Diff you are a character we all love curves you certainly turn the ordinary into something special great work as usual Sir
