In this video, I start work on the interior, dealing with the dashboard and side consoles. The electrical system is also connected up.

More great work! For some reason I really like your recreation of the oven dials and drawer handles. Those drawer handles feature in a lot of thunderbirds interiors!

Thanks for the comments. Those drawer handles came off Thingiverse. I just shrank them down. The oven dials were scratch built using Tinkercad.

I watched one of your videos a while back after YT recommended it, then lost it and couldn't find you again, then forgot about your build. It was the one where you were trying various methods to "chrome" the bumpers and grille. I should have subscribed then and there, don't remember why I didn't, probably just got distracted, anyway, subscribed now. I just watched an episode of Top Gear where James May reviews the Ford Fab1 from the '04 film (horrible looking thing) and it reminded me to try to find your channel again. Glad to be back and catch up with what I missed. I would love to build my own scratch built model of a sci-fi video game fighter spacecraft from the 1995ish video game called Descent. The fighter is called a Pyro GX and watching your build of the Fab1 just makes me want to get started on my own build sooner rather than later. The hardest part is just making the decision to get started. I'm looking forward to the rest of the interior and as another commentor said, the bubble canopy.

@@modellingmisadventures I don't know about that, never done a FAB1, I'm thoroughly enjoying it mate, I'll be interested to see how you tackle the canopy/glass section

Always look forward to your Thunderbirds build videos Peter. Shame about the print lines on the console decorations - time for a resin printer?

I would like a resin printer but the setup is a lot more complex and messy than a filament printer. And actually, the print lines are only visible in the close up photos. When you look at the model from a normal distance you don’t see them.

Watching the whole build.....I must say you have made a 56-year-old man very happy! An idea for your next 'Misadventure'.......What about Joe 90 spy briefcase?

Well, your comment has made a 59 year old man very happy! The coincidence is that I have actually considered making the Joe 90 briefcase. One day …..🤔

@@modellingmisadventures That's good to hear Peter! I always wanted one as a child. In the late 1990's I saw one for sale in a toy shop on the Isle of Wight. I always regretted not buying it.
