Even without FPV I have been having fun with an action cam bolted to my rescue boat. It has allowed me to get close to the ducks and geese on the farm pond. They don't mind the noise of the props which is a surprise.

@@modellingmisadventures I have also just realised that, if the action camera has WiFi you can do a short-range FPV onto a phone. My action camera doesn't have WiFi but I think I might get one to see if its viable over the short range I need.

a guy in the model boat club I go to did something similar to this but he hooked up VR goggles to the camera so he had "Boat Vision" and could see what was happening in real time. Very cool stuff indeed.

I can still see what’s happening in real time. It’s just on the monitor and not in the goggles. The monitor has a recording function as well.

The video visuals were brilliant and the on-board sound takes it to a whole other level. Oh, and in this hot weather we're having in Melbourne, I'm also loving loving your pool.

Hello, can you please show us your finished Thunderbird 4 model? I know you were struggling how to make a perspex cockpit windscreen for the model, but I hope you sorted that out by now, it's has been at least a year since you showed TB4 on your YT channel. Here hoping🤞😀

Canopy for TB4 is still not done. The mould collapsed in the Vac Forming machine. At the moment it is sitting on the shelf with a solid 3D printed canopy on it.

Could you show us a link for the spotter cam?
