One of the best things I love about AB Camping with Tony and Bruno is you get everything, the good, the bad, the normal and its not just scenery, its every day life on the road, camping. I love it. I love when Tony says ‘Thanks for coming along’ because I really feel that I have joined you on that camp not just some selected pretty scenery bits. It is REAL. Thanks for another fantastic video Tony and Bruno! I really enjoyed watching this road trip and seeing what went into building your custom 4x4 and love that Bruno went along with you. He is so lovable! I'm from NZ and it's fun seeing familiar places such as Taupo and the desert road and Wellington on your journey as well as seeing on-board the ferry. Thanks for sharing the experience with us.

The Napier earthquake was 3 Feb 1931. My mother went through it at 12 years old. The strait crossing can be horrendous or flat as a pancake, as Forest would say it’s like a box of chocolates you never know what you’re going to get. Sealegs are my life saver 😂 Loved the trip with you and Bruno through areas I know so well. Fun fact the Desert Road and surrounding ranges are home to our only wild horse herds, the Kaimanawa horses. And don’t worry about calling Bruno Bruce, it took me 6 years to stop doing that after my old dog died and you know what? My new dog never once complained when I got his name wrong. 🙂 I think he knew both names meant him in the long run. Thanks for the video.

You’re always talking about quality control and such they look super professional. Whole assembly line down to an art and in one day! All handmade (aside from cutting) and assembly. Can’t beat that! Interested to see how it works. Still miss the roof tent (even though ya did t use it much).

Wow thank you for sharing the damage. It was just heartbreaking to see but so important to see to remember and help any way we can. Even if it’s thoughts and prayers. As heart breaking as it was, I know people are unbelievably resilient and will get through what comes there way. I have to remind my self often sometimes. On a good note, Tony your new toy/addition is a beauty. I can’t think of anyone who deserves it more then you, Bruno, and family. You work so hard for us and you are appreciated more then you know. Thanks for showing us the cattle truck on the ferry. My Dad hauled his heifers from the dairy in Paramount, in Southern California, 350 miles to his ranch in Waterford. Dad drove a 1952 snub nose Peterbuilt diesel truck. People used to stop and take pictures of the darn thing. it made me smile! The new rig looks great. Congratulations,

when I visited Napier many years ago, we stayed not far from the Tobacco comapny so went over to look at that building, rooms and doors. So beautiful designed and carved! Well worth a visit. Napier is just the most gorgeous place!
