I think Landon's friend's name is Boston. :-) They most likely enjoyed that "try out" even though I'm sure they're much too cool to admit they'd like to play in the fort too. LOL

Yes it does have the 3 dots, but no, it won't let me edit, these days the only option is delete the whole comment. Usually that is what I do, after I respond to someone like yourself, but by doing that all comments are erased. Frustrating!

My dad used to make forts for us when we were kids. Such a fun idea. She is so sweet to help you out. I am retiring in three days and will be 60 in October. These kids will remember this forever.

My daughter and her friend made a bathtub costume from a refrigerator box for Halloween. They won several prizes.

I did this with my grandkids plus we cut out a few round windows and added battery operated stick on lights for inside threw some pillows inside .we kept it for like 5 years!!!!

Most Excellent! I think a few more windows though. Can't wait to see them in it! Have flashlights handy - or little kid lanterns placed strategically throughout. (a few pictures on the walls too, lol) Curtains? lol

We once built our kids an epic cardboard fort from massive pieces of cardboard from my husband’s work. We utilized their bunk bed and created rooms, added string lights, took it up to the ceiling and cut windows in the top. Used nearly their entire bedroom. It was amazing.

When mine were little I made a fort simular to this. I let them decorate it inside and out. It kept them so busy. I also put holes and windows here and there so it would let light in and they could stick their heads and bodies out. they may not like it if its dark through the whole thing. Enjoy so much fun.

I made my nephew a cardboard fort one year with a tunnel to get into the main area and peaked roof. I had two windows in it so we could keep an eye on him, a front door for when he didn't want to use the tunnel. I taped pictures to the walls in the main part. I also put in a table and chairs in the main area so he could eat his lunch. He loved it.

If you had made the boxes inside out they would be plain cardboard and the kids could decorate. They can still draw all over them of course. I used to make these for my son and put lights poking through the roof. You could plug in some night lights inside! 😊

Great video! I loved watching you and Melissa making this fort together. The quints will have lots of fun with it. Lots of good ideas with decorating the fort from decorating with fairy lights to coloring the outside.

Seeing you use these boxes brought back an old forgotten memory. We used refrigerator boxes & made a "spook alley" for Halloween which worked great. The kids really loved it.

Hi Skyler and Melissa, Wow I loved looking at, listening t and watching this 18 minutes and 58 seconds video of you both re-using your removal boxes. I loved seeing the progress you both did coming up with a Cubby House design and putting the cardboard together with Duct Tape to come up with a cool looking Cubby House to surprise the Quints when they arrive at your house next week. I love at the end of your 1 hour and a half of making a Cubby House out of your removable House boxes seeing what you both came up with. It looks fantastic the Quints are going to love it. Skyler that is such a great idea that the Quints can watch movies on your Laptop Computer inside the Cardboard Cubby House with pillows and blankets in there. I love watching Movies n my Laptop Computer in my Bedroom. Sometimes even sitting up in Bed. That is so much fun. I loved seeing first up Melissa go through the Cubby House and then Landon and his buddy friend Boston go through the Cubby House and it was still standing both times. Way to go Melissa and Skyler that is a fantastic Cubby House of large boxes that you both made for the Quintes. The Quintes are going to love it, love it and love it so much. Road construction. Sun glasses, everyday. My bestie. Hahahahaha.

My son had a spelunker party and we used appliance boxes as the cave. The children received a flashlight when they arrived for their cave exploration. We hung bats and spiders inside the tunnel along with some glow-in-the-dark stars. Their party favors were in the last box, but my husband cut his hand before we got the last box connected and then we forgot all about cutting the hole to enter it until the party was over! So the favors were all still there after the kids left! Have fun! I can’t wait to see the quints playing in their fort!

Very cool! Melissa is amazing. You'll have to have her again. Does she coach any teams? My PE teachers were scary. They always catered to the athletes in class. And yelled at those of us who were afraid to touch a ball. I hope she's the kind of teacher who will help everyone in the class.

When I was little my best friend’s parents bought a new washer and dryer and refrigerator. Made the best fort ever! I cried when her parents threw them in the trash!
