Agreed, the seats are too dark now for sure, they need something, how about rust coloured leather seats with blue plaid inlays? BOOM!!!!!

I concur, look into it! Many headlights you can separate by warming them in an oven.

That would look good but I’m pretty sure that would affect the brightness of them because the chrome is used to reflect the light aswell

Your tributes to old school GTI's, Beetles and ratrod style ...all mixed with a modern take on all of it is really cool. Some parts of these projects aren't my style, but I'm having a GREAT TIME watching you going through your artistic process. I've been watching you for a bit and it's refreshing to see you just take a 90 degree turn from one project to the next. I have to admit that when you started with the "rusty" paint job, on the Beetle I hated it. Now that the entire car is coming together I think it looks fantastic! I'm looking forward to seeing it lifted. Your creative vision and courage to "go for it" is amazing. Keep it up, and thanks for the entertainment.

Doing all you have done to the interior will undoubtedly make the car smell much better but changing that cabin filter will also help with the smell.....a lot!

The headliner fits the car perfectly but if you want to bring that into the seats have custom seats covers made where the center insert is made out of the same material as your headliner

Minus the blue as you said it looks great. Was hoping for Cerakote Kryptek but I’m sure the plaid was much cheaper and is a VW throwback. Looking great!

You should add a couple lights to the back of the rack so that you can light up your jet skis when you’re loading and unloading. Just a thought.

Truck nuts would be hilarious after it's lifted :). Love the headliner, didn't like the blotchy patina at first, but it's growing on me. I know its too late, but i love the rusty patina finish. With that headliner I think a two tone brown & tan for seats. The idea of lifting sounds great. Always loved baja style bugs. The only thing that seems off to me is the gloss black. I would think it should have rusted or faded too. You have done wonderful job.

Love the headliner, running the wiring the taillight is a good idea, with wiring like that run it down past the grommet then loop it back up. If there is a way water will find its way in

On the roof rack maybe change the rubber leg tips to some with a wider bottom to help distribute weight on the roof. The headliner came out pretty good, very unique!

Off road Beetle? Built mine in 1968 from a 1966 chassis. Everything top to bottom, front to rear. Baja Kit. Custom interior. Lights. Shocks. Brakes. Transaxle. 1835cc blueprinted engine with dual Kadrons. Fast and capable. Driven as a family car after desert/sand dune duty. sold in 1984.

Looks killer. I think I would have rounded off the edges of your roofrack mount brackets.

The head liner for the roof is unreal. I’d love to own this tbh.

Love the head liner, wasn't sure about the interior until you put it back together but once together it looks terrific, a great idea with the racks but the lights are a little too high and now you can't put two surfboards on the roof racks, My old beetle looked great and ran much better with surfboards on the roof, maybe a light bar instead? and mount two of the spotties on the front and two off the back of the rack upside down. Good idea with the rock lights and the bigger wheels but maybe not too big as it will hinder performance with too high a gearing. Great work

Or even a big light bar in the middle with two spotlights on each side

Put a small piece of rubber unter the bracket at the side. Over time vibrations will scrub off the paint under the bracket. And maybe round the edges so you will not injure yourself. Great build love to watch your videos.

Dude! VW Beetles were the best for driving on sand dunes. They are absolutely off road.

I just did a dsg fluid and filter on my daughter's Passat about a month ago. I used the topside fill method and put back exact same amount that came out. Bottom filling can be a pain when done according to the book.

You should replace the fabric of the arm rests on the doors to match the headliner. Keep up the great work!

One idea, would be to find some serape, or wicker looking?, seat covers, in a color pallet, similar to the headliner, witch BTW looks AWESOME!! Keep up the good work
