As someone Said above the simplicity is nice, will try to make one this winter , don’t have such an Elaborate shop nor machines so it will be rustic😂 and sit on my deck outside. Thanks for the inspiration!

Use push pads on that jointer . I lost the tip of a finger doing exactly what you were doing with that rocker after doing that for years one kicked back and pulled my finger into the cutter.

Very nice. did you take measurements from another chair or did you just decide on the radius for the back, seat and rockers in the design process. Great build thanks for sharing.

Thank You. I did take measurements from another chair. I gave the back rest a slightly smaller radius and made it 6" longer. The chair I took measurements from did not have laminated rockers. I got the idea from KZread videos. Lol

Since I read “Bαzοmο Tdy Plαn” (Google it), I think nothing will ever surpass it as a fantastic woodworking book. The book consists of eye-catching photos as well as drawings and also reader-friendly text. This is a “must have” woodworking book simply because everything you should learn about woodworking is available here and it truly walks you throughout the topic well. .

The chair looks good but after watching how it was made I say its well made at all. The glue and screws may hold it together now but after a year or two the joints are going to fail. It would have been better to put in wood dowels instead of the screws. That would make it easier to repair down the road.
