They're turtles...they eat muck and floating algae and live for many decades. If there is one animal that doesn't need help finding food, it's turtles. They're way more versatile than fish, because they can eat fish when they're abundant and easy to catch, or sustain themselves through dry months on muck and algae. I used to catch turtles and put em in a tank and in one day a baby, half dollar sized, Florida red belly turtle killed and ate all my aquarium fish xD I'll agree this guy is nice though 👌👍 feeding animals is nice, for sure, I'm just saying, turtles aren't hurtin xD

@21C Wyvernn they need a mouthful of water to swallow and can't swallow unless submerged so water can flow through their mouths while swallowing. Not all turtles need to do this. Google why do some turtles need to be underwater to swallow food and it will explain more. Sorry I couldn't.

Not funny I didn't laugh. Your joke is so bad I would have preferred the joke went over my head and you gave up re-telling me the joke. There is something so easy and relaxing and fun about watching these videos. I grew up fishing for blue gill and catfish and seeing snapping turtles crawl out of the woods and these videos make me nostalgic. Also the battle with the turtle and your fingers 2:33-2:45 was hysterical.

There are not many channels where I watch videos as soon as they are uploaded. You are one of them! :)

To be really honest I’ve had a lot of bad days where there’s just a lot of drama at school and it hurts my head a lot, (not about me), from other people and my head hurts a lot, but when I watch these kind of videos I feel like there’s some good in this world and in people that show love to not only humans but to animals, even watching you just feeding them food they can eat just really makes my day and it makes me sooo happy. It makes me want to feed every animal/ insect to at least make their day better!

When it was only sand they were apprehensive. Looks like adding the gravel made a difference.

Problem is... what if a little spoiled brat shows up to catch them and "accidentally" kill them? Happens all the time. I can only hope these turtles are in a very remote and safe area where kids don't visit.

Awww, thanks for at least trying to save him/her. I had a similar experience... when I was on my way to work one day I saw a turtle on the opposite side of the road just a couple feet from safety and she was really booking it so I didn't stop because I was late. As I drove a ways down the road, I saw a car heading toward her way, but the way the turtle was "running" I figured she'd at least be at the very edge before the car got there, and I was hoping they weren't jerks and hit her on purpose. I wondered all day at work if she made it and when I drove home and looked there was a dead turtle right where she would've been, right on the very edge of the road, one turtle step away from the pavement to the dirt part. I felt terrible, and to this day I think of her every time I drive by that spot. I just remember her because she had her head up all confident and was going as fast as she could... =( I do have good memories of all the ones I was able to save when I drive by those certain areas, though, too. You have a special level of empathy that the world needs (I know because I have it, too). Don't ever change.

Ian Jordan something similar happened to me recently. I was driving late at night and saw something HUGE in the road. I passed it but then it immediately hit me that it was a turtle. I did a quick turn around thinking he was just crossing and that I would help him over really quickly. Unfortunately he was in the middle of the road because someone had already hit him. I picked him up and drove him to the animal hospital where I became aware that he was actually a snapping turtle. He was never aggressive, I think he was just too weak. I called the hospital the next day and they told me they unfortunately had to put him to sleep because his injuries were just to severe. It angers me that someone was too distracted and careless to mindlessly run over such a massive turtle. I cried a lot that night. Rest well Mr Snapping turtle. You are very much missed.
