Yknow what I strangely have never seen anyone do in an 1.18 let's play? Build a massive Dwarven mine/city, despite it being such an obvious idea. Maybe everyone just thought everyone else would do it, and so Noone did, or I just never found it, but with that mine entrance I started thinking it'd be really cool seeing that, and I think it'd look amazing if you did it ^^

That mine entrance looks fucking awesome, no other way of saying it

you should have the roof support for the area of the storage room under the mountain made of stone, it would make for sense structurally.

ive found that if you add in some basalt t the deepslate floor it give it an extra bit of depth and looks really cool.

I don't know what your exact goal with this world is, but realistically speaking, about that vein of ore you wanted right outside the mine entrance, it wouldn't make any sense. If the ore they needed was right there, they wouldn't have a reason to keep digging. They would first mine out that vein, then keep digging deeper to find more of it. However, if you're not going for absolute realism, I do think it would look cool if done right!

My idea was that they're in the process of mining that ore out, I plan on adding scaffolding all over it to help give that effect. Although you do make a good point, if they dug out the entire inside of the mountain why would that ore still be there lol. Maybe it would be best to get rid of ores and just have the patches of tuff.
