You should call the new city Leonis. It fits the lion theme.

For the early industrial buildings, you probably should look into early industrial revolution architecture, such as Ancoats in Manchester, or other buildings from the industrial revolution in Britain or elsewhere. Having industry developing right next to medieval buildings was pretty normal in Germany for example

Looks really good! It has really good detail without devolving into block vomit. The color gradients are really well chosen! Great build man!

The magic academy is looking so cool! exactly what i wana see in minecraft. getting those arches and gothic details is so pretty. Also for the Medieval Industrial would think of how architects of the time would build up a space that would be needed to hold such large machines. huge detailed brick smoke stacks. alot of wooden and stone arches in a warehouse to support big buildings. Hand carved detials and by hand metal work touches. using the style of what was popular and how they would make a factory with what knowledge and design they would have at the time

Pretty insane stuff, this build is coming along very nicely, surely one of my favourites from you :)

Hey jermsy! Cool build as always, i'm really looking forward to what you've got planned not just for finishing the academy, but the city too! I saw a while back then someone on the bakery server, was it Vahaan perhaps? That basically put torches, soul torches and other light emitting blocks behind non-full blocks so the light seeps through and it works sort of like shading with light but in survival! I just thought it'd be cool to try adding that to places like the interior roof that you've got going in this episode so the details on the supports don't get lost that much! Same with the rest of the interior walls. Especially since gothic, as far as my understanding goes, is about *bringing in light*.

This is how my dream Minecraft city looks like, but i dont have this much time to do that, especially to terraform. I live in Germany, where i meet this type of buildings pretty often and i can guarantee you that they look accurate and realistic

You could, and this would be crazy, you could make an elder guardian tank with a cyan glass ceiling in your floor. It could be pretty big actually, you have plenty of space.

how do you do you mod packs I use curseforge and it is not working ( for shaders)

I think you might be at a better building level than Bdubs now, because you use texture/color AND dimension. Bdubs‘s builds are a lot flatter. Keep on doing that!

I assume you mean the glass thing but bdubs didn’t invent that, the building community has been doing it for years. You should check out pixelbiester, they’ve been way ahead of the game with this stuff for years
