Jerm, i think what you are doing with renovating an outdated build speaks to how you make a world your forever world. Same IRL. Might be a few historic builds preserved, but many are refreshed and brought up to current standards, usefulness, and aesthetics. This is the way. I truly enjoy how you stick to your vision. And, wow, it paid off! Its gorgeous!

Can't wait to see this being renovated in 8 years again

if u use 2 red mushrooms blocks on top of each other and break the top one. the bottom one will turn into a white/brownish kinda like birch but a similiar or kinda texture, in case u dont know it blend rly well with ur castle style or even paths on sand!

yeah, I used to have a datapack that spawned those mobs way back in the day, theres still a few lingering around since ive removed it

Make ur old storage area a dungeon, and add zombies skeletons and other prisoners

Hi jermsy! You could try Bdubs new stained glass technique in some of those smaller windows. He uses glazed terracotta with glow lichen to create this paneling effect. He discusses it in his video “i didn’t know this was possible” in his latest building with Bdouble O series. Castle redesign and retexture is looking wonderful so far! Nice work :) i always find it fun to revisit older builds in my world too

Thanks! I don’t if that design would fit super well with the palette I’m going for but I’ll probably use it for a future build!

The middle support of the bridge u should make it look more mountainous, like with steep cliffs

It seems somehow you bugged your armor into having multiple armor trims, as you already had an armor trim in place. What's supposed to happen is that it just replaces the old one with the new one -- but you somehow have combined them.

13:52 i think what happened is, you already had a trim on the armour before you added the new one, so now you have a cobination of both 😂 i didnt even know you could do 2 trims on 1 armour lol
