In this episode we build a lean to which will provide shade in corral #1. It is set long ways, east to west to minimize the arc of the sun and it ends up being 12ft x 19ft. We also want to give the cows something else to scratch on besides my Maple trees, so we install a scratching post using 4 - 24" (polypropylene) broom heads. I think THEY LIKE THEM!
