Rodents learn new paths by scent mark them as they go along. Also Peachy instinct is to defend it's nest so it will return to it often. Peachy is perfectly capable of trans-versing that tunnel and distance many times over but don't be surprised if Peachy once it explores the route sticks close to it's nest. -Go team Peachy.

To be honest I love the idea of giving it a bigger area to explore but tell me if anyone else felt a bit sorry for peachy when going through the tunnel cos every time it stopped at the little window bits with holes it just looked like it was trying to breathe. Also I get that they have other instincts and capabilities but I would of felt very annoyed and pressurised after being pushed/held into the small tunnel, having my (perfectly organised) bedroom dumped somewhere else and having to climb full vertical up a shaft cus it's the only way to go

I agree with all the comments when they say that the cage is small. Also you really shouldn’t force peachy to do something she doesn’t want to do, like leave her alone and stop poking her, you wouldn’t like it if someone was forcing you to do something and then poke you because you didn’t want to do it and then when you are tired or give up have them say “you’re a complete failure.” You guys should have some research on hamster before getting one. Also she was probably sticking her nose in the little window spot because she doesn’t have enough air maybe? And seriously over the damn door that’s to high. She is gonna fall and get hurt because it is to high. You should have at least made zigzag or stairway kind of way to go up so she won’t get hurt. Poor peachy.

I think everyone who watched can see you guys love your hamster. But the real issue was with the enclosure sizes themselves and the stress. Quantity of enclosures doesn’t compensate for size and quality. The best and least stressful enclosure for a hamster is a 40gallon glass tank. I’m sure you’ve been told this, but you have a MASSIVE following and if one viewer watches and does as you do, you have a responsibility to correct your information & ensuring no animals suffer in the future. Please consider tossing all of the small plastic cages and tube and invest in your pet & buy a large tank, proper bedding and wheels. You have a duty to your viewers and the animals. 💗

Lori’s Hartland Tanks aren’t good for rodent no matter the size. They trap odors and dust, even with the lid open. Living situations in a tank, plastic cage, or small cage, can give rodents problems. People should actually do research before they get an animal, and if they can’t afford the right living conditions, or won’t provide it for the animal, they shouldn’t get it.

So you keep climbing and running in miles of tubing to who-knows-where. Wouldn't you stop and look around in a confused state? 😁 Hamsters are nocturnal. 1. A hamster can’t climb a tube going straight up or down 2. You don’t dump a hamster out of its home and to a place it’s never been before, it will stress peachy out 3. You don’t call a hamster IT 4. Of course peachy will be mad, you dumped peachy out of her/his home, and you LAUGHED 5. Cage is way too small for a Syrian hamster 6. You never pick a hamster out of his/her cage directly, they climb ONTO your hand by choice 7. You took peachy out of her/his cage and not only did you put him/her in a different cage, but put him/her into a different tube. She/he needs to find his/her scent and is scared because she doesn’t know her/his way home! The new cage is like a stranger to him/her! 8. You don’t block a hamster’s way of going home 9. DONT LET IT OUT!?! 10. You don’t scream while a hamster is trying something new, it will make the hamster nervous 11. The wheel is too smallllllllllllll 12. Hamsters learn their way how by it’s scent, the new tubes don’t have their scent. 13. A HAMSTER IS NOT A FAILURE WHEN IT DOESNT DO SOMETHING ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO DO! PEACHY IS SO SCARED! 14. Peachy Wants to do something new when no one is around to stress her!!! There is so many things wrong with this

I just wanted to Nicely let you know that that many tunnels are not good for hamsters and your cage is too small. For that hamster a 40 gallon tank is needed, you can easily make a bin cage by buying a bin (duh), cutting a large hole In the top, then use duct tape to tape on mesh wiring. Also when you do upgrade your cage ALOT of toys are needed to keep them happy and healthy. A good Hamster youtube channel for more info is Hammylux. I just wanted to let you know because your hamster looks very stressed! 🙂

Hi, Peachy is a cutie but i just wanted to inform you that hamsters need floor space. They need at least 450 square inches of floor and a minimum of 6 inches of bedding because hamsters love to burrow. This means that you’ll need to upgrade your enclosure but on a positive note you can make a video on possibly making a new enclosure. I’m not trying to discriminate, i love your videos! Keep up the good work👍🏼
