My son loves your channel! He wanted me to tell you “thank you for teaching me about bugs and animals, I would love to go on an adventure in the desert with him” listening to him tell me the new things he learns about insects or snakes and such is so cute. It makes me happy that your channel is educational.

This is my local park! Frilled-neck lizards used to be a lot more common here, but recently the population has significantly declined. I am unsure of the cause, but I believe the population is being monitored in the hopes that the numbers will return. A cyclone (category 3) passed through in 2018 and destroyed many of the trees, so perhaps that was the cause. I hope you guys enjoyed your time here :)

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully captive breeding and such can help re-populate if needed. That is the beauty of having captive populations I suppose.

As someone who used to be big into the Pokémon TCG, (I believe at my peak I had collected 163 Ultra Rares and opened 18 Elite trainer boxes + 4 booster Boxes throughout my time collecting). This is genuinely awesome to see Brave Wilderness to do and hits me with a wave of nostalgia! I’m 100% supportive of more episodes with this!

I love that he puts the helioptile in a sleeve but not the vstar lol

This was amazing! As someone who's been collecting cards for a few years now, I've never seen someone so excited over a non-holo card!😂 On top of my man just casually pulling one of the rarest cards in the set lol! I'll definitely be looking forward to more videos like these!

And you only get like 2-3 of the Arceus, Palkia, or Dialga SRs per booster box CASE. If you dont know, those cost around 700-800 USD for a case (6 boxes) and also, each box contains 36 booster packs (he is only opening up 20 in this video)

bro really was more excited about pulling the helioptile card which was only a few cents after opening a few packs than pulling the gold palkia vstar which is 45 dollars on his first pack 💀

Helioptile: Helioptile is probably based on frilled-neck lizards, although its frills also resemble those found on the secret toadhead agama. It may also be based on the spotted salamander, a salamander that can photosynthesize. Its ability to learn Surf may be a reference to the common basilisk, a reptile capable of running on water for short distances. Additionally, it shares few resemblances to the leopard gecko.

I want your backpack Coyote because ever since I was a kid, Charizard has been my favorite Pokémon. Ever since I watched Pokémon: The First Movie and the classic show, Charizard is such an amazing Pokémon

I personally like the Snivy line (based on Natrix Helvetica and Hedra Helix), the Pokemon that kept me from becoming a genwunner. In England, Grass Snakes are colubrids that typically live near ponds and eat frogs.

Heliolisk has the hidden ability called Solar Power which raises the damage dealt by it upto 30 percent, while losing a tenth of its HP each turn during harsh sunlight, its electric type move do huge damage!

Frilled lizards are like upgraded bearded dragons. Such beautiful animals

This is the why Pokemon is the best anime cartoon for children, just teaches you to get in touch with nature, so they can be curious and loving of animals, so many based on the awesome creatures we have all around the world

I love this idea a lot. Am a Pokemon fan since almost 20 years and searching for the real animals and pulling cards at the same time could be a great series and I'm highly excited for the next ones! My all time fav is Volcarona so maybe you could try to catch an atlas moth (attacus atlas)

My favorite is the Wooloo Pokémon. It's so funny how you say every Pokémon card🤣 I love how Coyote tests or catches something or takes a risk! It's so Amazing how we see experience something risky on cam. Brave Wilderness, ✅️

Our son Levon says, Grafaiai and Passimian are the lemur Pokémon: Aye aye and black and white ruffed Lemurs. Or Wooper is like an axolotl:)

Try to catch a jiggly puff. Just kidding. You could try a squirtle vs a turtle - but that is old school Pokemon, so maybe those are no longer in the card packs.

There's a bunch of cool ones you could do. For me, I'd love to see some turtle catches. There's multiple types of turtle pokemon including Drednaw which is a snapping turtle should you want to cross this with Dragon Tails. The Slaking Line of pokemon is sloths if that's something you think you could swing. If you want to go the bug route but another creature you've featured, then there's Durant which is a Bullet Ant. There's some cool arachnid pokemon you could do like the Skorupi (Scorpion) and Joltik (Evolves into Galvantula which is a tarantula) lines. I believe Scolipede's based on Coyote's favorite arthropod (giant desert centipede) It's either that or Centiskorch. Honestly there's so many ways you guys could take this as a series and I'm sure it'd generate a lot of interest connecting wildlife to a franchise people across the world love dearly.

Here's a fun little story about my history with Heliolisk. About 8 or 9 years ago my friend FINALLY convinced me to make a competitive pokemon team. Now I did not breed for perfect stats, but I did breed to get specific abilities and natures for my team. We each chose a pokemon type to build a team around and I chose Normal while he chose Water. I looked through all the different Normal type pokemon available in Omega Ruby and I came across Heliolisk. Heliolisk is a normal/electric type with an ability called "dry skin" which restores Heliolisk's health when hit with a water type move. So, I chose Heliolisk and, for some reason, nicknamed him Loki. I enjoyed having him on my team.

got an interesting idea: you should make a deck of only pokemon that have real world counterparts, then go to tournament with it(not just with the deck but with as many of the real life counterparts as possible), because a trainer has to be knowledgeable about the pokemon they send out. people might gasp when seeing one of your friends handling and explaining the creature(s) but it would be an experience for everyone to get to interact and learn about the different animal(s) the lovable pocket monsters are based on.. isn't your motto "be brave, stay wild"?

Palkia is a legendary Pokemon that is technically the god/goddess of space. You discovered it's V form but my favorite form is Palkia's original form where it is mor dragon-like.

You got my favorite card of the set in the first pack! Palkia is a Water and Dragon type legendary Pokemon that controls space, so yeah it's a good card congratulations!
