Feeding tongs are overrated. As an Asian, chopsticks are scattered everywhere in my house. I use a plastic one that I got from a Japanese fast food restaurant to feed my leopard gecko 😂 I use another pair to prop open my faulty window. They're versatile!

What a cutie. I miss mine. He was a German giant and inbred. Had a serious underbite. Became very attatched to my mother and would only eat his veggies if she hand fed them to him He lasted about 6 years in my custody (never knew his actual age but he was at the highschool for about 5 years before I took him home) Lasted a lot longer than anyone expected given his genetic circumstances

Aww, bless you for loving and caring for him! I had a Sav monitor that I was given when he was a teeny tiny emaciated and dehydrated mess. Fit in the palm of my hand at about 3" long. Vet told me to keep him comfortable and that Id have him maybe a week if I was lucky. He grew to about 4.5' long and I was fortunate enough to be with him almost 6 years! Morbidity rate of Savs is over 93% in the 1st yr of captivity. Yeah my bestie had challenges, many of them, but he was the sweetest guy ever. Guess I did pretty well overall. I miss my big ol meathead.

What a beautiful baby and you certainly and clearly love him so much. The only thing I would recommend - as another beardie parent - would be to make sure that you shred that lettuce and those greens really well because beardies will occasionally get gobs of lettuce or other greens stuck down their throat. I learned that on one of those vet shows lol. Now I always chop up Calypso's lettuce nice and fine for her. Again your baby is so precious 💕

@Tiffany Huynh how far do you cut their nails?. I see dragon's with shorter nails . I only take the tip off right where it starts to point . He doesn't have any finger problems but I wasn't sure if I could go any lower . Morris is outside alot and is active so I don't need to cut them often but I don't want him to be uncomfortable. I wish you could see pictures of him and the cat lol she lays on him and they sleep like that lol

My dragon loves mealworms and dubia roaches. I cant stomach bringing crickets in my room so i comprimise and got em freeze dried crickets as snacks in between live feedings. I like that screen you use, it lets in way more light than the one i got. (Im a newb to the Dragon life) been watching Care vids and i'm building up a nice lil domain for my lil reptile adolescent. I havent had em sexed by a vet yet. Was sold to me as a Male but i get a steong feeling he may be a she by the mannerisms, genetal area, abdomen area is wide when flattening during basking. Loves Kale almost as much as mealworms. I'm working on getting some bok choy, dandilion greens, gonna cut some dandilion flowers that growing n the backyard and soak em in water b4 serving a little. So funny mine jumps down on my hand or arm to strike and eat the food while in my hand. I handled this dragon some at the place i work b4 i adopted so they got used to me quickly.

@Tiffany Huynh how far do you cut their nails?. I see dragon's with shorter nails . I only take the tip off right where it starts to point . He doesn't have any finger problems but I wasn't sure if I could go any lower . Morris is outside alot and is active so I don't need to cut them often but I don't want him to be uncomfortable. I wish you could see pictures of him and the cat lol she lays on him and they sleep like that lol

My dragon loves mealworms and dubia roaches. I cant stomach bringing crickets in my room so i comprimise and got em freeze dried crickets as snacks in between live feedings. I like that screen you use, it lets in way more light than the one i got. (Im a newb to the Dragon life) been watching Care vids and i'm building up a nice lil domain for my lil reptile adolescent. I havent had em sexed by a vet yet. Was sold to me as a Male but i get a steong feeling he may be a she by the mannerisms, genetal area, abdomen area is wide when flattening during basking. Loves Kale almost as much as mealworms. I'm working on getting some bok choy, dandilion greens, gonna cut some dandilion flowers that growing n the backyard and soak em in water b4 serving a little. So funny mine jumps down on my hand or arm to strike and eat the food while in my hand. I handled this dragon some at the place i work b4 i adopted so they got used to me quickly.
