this is the standart youtube "like-bait" they promise thing like this every vid and usally they dont do it, you are insentivised to press that like button quick without thinking bc you want to see the next video. they usally make videos in bulk so they film like 2-3 bounce ball vids in a row or a couple of vids at the dam to save time. if they fullfill a " at x likes we do y" thing they woulda released that vid anyway they not ever plan to make a video they promised like that. the only thing they care is views and merch sales, sadly

It used to be so annoying to me how yall yell so much but to be honest I've grown to love it! 🤣 Your channel has become a silly happy escape when things get too real and stressful in life, so sincerely, thank you! As an Australian, I can confirm this is how other people act when they see kangaroos

To mitigate some of the compression to achieve maximum bounce berries, you should put something solid but light weight in the middle of the ball. Like a baseball or a softball. It seems like the compression is casing the bigger balls to lose there energy upon hitting the ground. Having a solid core should help retain some of that lost energy which should cause the ball to bounce higher. I could be wrong though. Maybe

When you inevitably make the 100kg ball you might save yourselves some trouble by including a lifting strap so you can winch it up without having to use a sling or a bag or whatever. Just get some kind of rope or strap and include it when you start the rubber band ball, so the rubber bands build up around it. Leave an eye or tie a loop at the top, and Bob's your uncle. Embedded strap leaves some room for creativity, too. Could, for example, connect two rubber band balls and have kind of a bolo/truck nuts thing to drop. Or, loosely tuck the strap into a smaller ball for a Galileian Cannon that would stay close until it hit the ground, then easily come apart. You guys are really at the cutting edge of dropping shit off a tower.

Explanation for why the ball on top bounces way higher than the drop height is simple: the smaller ball on top took on its own momentum plus the momentum from the larger ball. The ground took no momentum because it is always stationary. In other words, it can be explained by conservation of momentum or Newton's second law.

I was terrible at physics in school but I actually can explain why at the start when they bounced two of the rubber band balls and one hit the other the kinetic energy from the bigger one hitting the ground actually transfers to a smaller one and since it fly that is the only thing I remember from grade 10 physics

You should try something kind of sciencey'. What if you used different kinds of balls as the cores to big rubber band balls. i.e ( a tennis ball, baseball, gold ball, ect.) While matching the weight, across the board. Drop them from 45m and see which one bounces the highest

To explain what science with gaunsen couldn’t: the bigger ball has more mass and therefore generated more kinetic energy when falling. Then when it bounced it transferred the energy of a bigger ball into a ball of less mass, making that ball go very high.

i am holding a rubberband as i watch in awe at this video

Before seeing the title, i thought 'how many rubber bands will be cut' because of its thumbnail, but the "bouncing" is fun though😂

I'm guessing the tightness of the wrapping makes the difference, so long as it's heavy enough to overcome air resistance. For the 100 kilo video, I want to see a double ball shot. Maybe attach them loosely and add a streamer to the smaller ball to keep it on top. Both connections should break on impact.

That stack bouncing at the start was interesting, I never thought about that kind of thing before but it makes sense; the big one is moving at the same speed but is bigger so it has more energy, and when they hit together that energy is transferred into the little one, launching it much higher than where it started from.

Yup, after the collision the smaller ball had its own kinetic energy plus the kinetic energy of the larger ball (disregarding energy loss from bounce).

Assuming that each person or team worked for 1 hour straight before someone else took over, I would guess it took around 18 to 20 hours, based on the time lapse video

I am just so envious of your guys level of friendship, you can really feel it when watching you all goof around. Wish I had friends as close as you are. Not watched this yet and you probably make this question your comtest but how many rubber bands were used making that and how long did it take. Big respect for the effort you fellas put into making these vids to keep us all entertained, and boy do you entertain us. Keep up the good work.
