We used that honeycomb material back in the late 80’s & early 90’s when building GTP RaceCar tubs from Carbon Kevlar weave. We actually had to use Mc Donnel Douglas’s Autoclave because it was the only one in the Southern California area that was big enough to hold the entire mold for that project, it was a very special time in my life to be able to be part of that groundbreaking program!

Great move forward. Difficulty with wet layup is to get cells not filled with resin while laminating the second glass layer. Will be lighter! Simply inverting the mold while curing might help to drain the resin in the drain…

Brilliant! You have the best channel on KZread!! Using large platelet graphene at 2% concentration to your epoxy will result in 30% more strength if evenly mixed! We've personally seen 30% lighter parts!
