Green chef is awsome since I am out in the field working on houses and my wife being a High School English teacher is worn out in a different way. Meals are well planned and come together quickly. For some reason I can't straight comment, but as usual you ROCK! Love all your videos! A thought....I kinda wish you to slow down and show use on tools etc such as domino but understan since this is a huge project and lengthy. Also waiting for new videos. Top fan.

@@soulehawk yeah! It really is awesome! I’m still learning the domino, but I probably will do a more detailed video on it once I get better with it. I like to do separate videos with those sorts of details or this build projects get too lengthy

Holy cow, that was so complex compared to your other beds. It turned out AMAZING! I love that you tackled 3 completely different bed designs, too. You really go full send on each one, doing completely different designs and ideas. You don't just stick to what you know. Truly inspirational for up and coming wood workers ❤️

I’ve watched you go from 10k subs to 750k subs and you deserve every bit of it. Wonderful work, great work ethic, and always an interesting project…. Not to mention that nearly every project is in service of you own home/family. Keep it up. 🙏

I loved that you showed your mistakes and thought process to fix them. I don't feel so alone compared to these other woodworkers, lol. Beautiful design and execution. Hopefully I'll be as competent one day. Thank you!

Great to see you finally get back into action. Although there is a lot to be done in your new space, you find the time to complete this beautiful project. Love it.
I was once a young boy with a mom who was an ace with a table saw. Her shop wasn’t nearly as well fitted out as yours. But her mentorship with my interest in woodworking was so important for me. She taught me plenty about wood and tool use, and also taught me to not be an obnoxious male know-it-all when brilliant women can show me how much I have to learn. I wish you were my next door neighbor. I’d be looking over your shoulder all the time. You’d probably get tired of that. Great teaching.

That’s awesome. My kids only like to help once all the pieces are prepared… maybe one day they’ll want to get involved in all the hard work that leads up to that point. Ha
Glad to see youtube is finally recommending me your videos again after your break, time to catch up on the two I missed! One thing I took away from this build was how good the side tables looked next to the bed with the oversized headboard, they fit so well there like they were part of the bed without actually being attached. I've only ever thought of making headboards as wide as the bed so that detail is really expanding my thinking.
So much to say but I’ll try to keep it short. I’m glad there’s a new video. You work is outstanding. Your videos are entertaining and educational. Even your mistake solution is simple yet effective… remove the dato sections and make new ones instead of removing the whole piece
I really like this design for a bed and that color is amazing. I love dark colors and it will work for what I want to do. Thanks !
Beautiful bed and I love how detailed you are in giving the audience information of how and why you the steps and tricks you use to accomplish your pieces. Thank you for another excellent video and build!
Another amazing build! Your son must love this, it’s beautiful and custom and functional.
Fantastic job on this one!!! Yes, you have come a long way since your beginnings. Love seeing you learn and grow and help us as you do. Thank you
Looks like it was an interesting and yet challenging project. I appreciate your trying new techniques and sharing the process with us. I always say that a sign of a good carpenter is one that can resolve mistakes so others remain unaware (unless you tell them). Nice final project.
I remember when you started and how to a new home and shop. I think you have just about every bell & whistle in the shop now. What a great layout and the best of every tool.the whole Festool line up. Keep up the great videos you worked very hard to get where your at. Con Grats. Please slow down in showing us how your working on your projects. TY i

The color is awesome. I've always struggled to find the right stains when going for a very dark tone without it ending up looking just black. Great job!
Awesome woodworking techniques. Love watching you work. Just discovered your channel today, 4 November 2023. I am a past woodworker. Sold out my shop and moved out of America to retire in the Czech Republic. Over here I do not have the ability to have a shop, so watching woodworking is the next best thing, especially watching individuals who give a hoot about accuracy.
Watching you do these projects is always inspiring and entertaining! Glad to see more 3x3 projects popping up :D
Such a beautiful build!! So good to see your videos again! Thanks
Wow. This is a really amazing project. This Grey color work definitely worth it.
How amazingly gorgeous piece of furniture! Elegant but classy.
Very nice build Tamar. Watching the final build was really nice the way all the joinery came together. I'm sure it was really satisfying for you since you did all the work!
You are an artist and woodworker. Incredible build. Great recovery. As long as the joy of the solution out weights the agony of the error allis great. 😊😊😊😊😊
That was great. What a wonderful design. Simple and complex all at the same time. Love the color too.
Greetings from PR Tamar, your work is beautiful. Very proud of her work, blessings to you and your family. Thanks for sharing knowledge.
Really nice project and fantastic recovery with the dado mistake.
for sure you have invested on tools..plus your skills on top..ur genius ..much love from kenya
I love that finish! Beautiful work, keep on learning!
I love your Workwomanship 😂😂😂. You are great at it
Finishing fun idea…..take your finished grey ash and pull a card scraper across the top basically exposing the high points of the grain. Color in the new exposed white wood with a orange/red-ish stain. Enjoy! Thanks for the video!

Absolutely awesome to have a mum who is a carpenter. So damn COOL!
I like the floating design. It looks awesome. I've been building gift boxes using the floating design. I'm jealous of all that shop space you have. I've got 1 bay of a 2 car garage, but that's not stopping me. I just have to be more creative in my layout. Stay awesome.
Nice to see you having full length videos again. Your workshop looks great. Very nice design and work on the bed. I’m definitely going to try the Osmo finish on a future project.
Tamar, I think you "dominoed" it all the ay around. Great design, awesome pre-assembly forethought ideas and as always, an excellent tutorial on the work it took to complete such a project. It looks great, love the color and the contrast with the walnut. It will be a high quality piece of furniture not only built with care ad precision, but with "Mom's Love".
Hi Tamar, You defo can be so proud of the outcome, it's awesome! Look at you planning, building and installing it - you really came a long way refining your skills, most impressive. And the dato screw-up only makes you more likable.
This very well may be the absolute best build that I've ever seen on KZread!! Wow!!!! That is AWESOME!!! I really enjoyed this!
I love your videos, because you show the real life crafting process, with ups and downs :)
Good video! I've used analine dyes when matching finishes on new projects with existing furniture. I like the alcohol based dyes best. It's great to see you utilize your new tools to their potential! You've come a long way from those early videos in an unheated shop!
You're hardworking and smart 🤓.
great project and good to see you back on youtube recently

@@3x3CustomTamar Is he reading less because he's not feeling it, or because he's being forced to read stuff he doesn't dig for school? When I was in high school, we had to do active reading (i.e. reading a boring book, and both writing and highlighting on the book pages) and it made me hate reading. I rediscovered my love for reading after high school.

Hell yeah, never seen a domino used like that! Great thinking on the spot
Really like the look of the finish, it looks amazing. It is nice that you left in the visions of your mistakes, as that is how we all learn to become better at what we love to do. Having something built by a family member is so much more satisfying as it also brings along years worth or memories. Leaving a message for your son was a great idea..! Some 40+ years ago now I built my parents a 2" thick solid white oak dining trestle table, that table has seen so many family meals, birthday's, family get togethers, quiet newspaper reading breakfasts with my Dad and long into the night conversations with my Mom.. 🥲 Looking forward to seeing your next project.🙂

It really is the best feeling to build stuff we will actually use for years to come ☺️ thanks!
I love the floating design and the overall look of the bed, with massive headboard and walnut shelves. Combined with the dark stain, and the overall finish, it looks like an expensive designer piece. Showing and explaining the whole process, including the mistakes, is great and helps a lot in staying motivated. It can be quite difficult to learn to think in 3D, turning und flipping forms in your head. My skills in that area slowly improove, but seeing even big KZreadrs making mistakes is kind of comforting. Have you ever had issues with screwing down the slats when the wood expands and contracts or there's movement on the bed?
The new shop looks good. I love the glass garage door. The bed turned out fantastic. Keep up the good work.
Wow Tamar ...your level is so high (project and execution)...mistakes are part of life...I loved this project... It is amazing Congratulations from Brazil

Mistakes happen to us all! It’s all in how we fix it
For me integrating wall outlets and the light switches (even better usbc chargers and built in led lights) would make this a complete project
For me, the best bed design. I super love floating beds. Just like toe kicks for cabinets, I feel more comfortable having not to worry about toes getting hit by furniture feet. And cleaning, yes! Vacuuming under the bed feels more satisfying without having to deal with unnecessary obstruction. Plus, it's way cleaner looking. Sooo love this build!. . .I think imma make one?. . .lol Keep it up, stay safe always, and God bless, Tamar!

Wow Tamar I guess it's been a while since I've seen your videos. Your work shop is like wow. I remember seeing you telling us where stuff was going to go. So many new shop tools now maybe that's part of why it only took less than two weeks to build. Great job once again.
What a project. Nicely done & Whew! Always enjoy real world captures of fixing whoops a daisies on the fly. Efforts in removing the glued on ledger give a shining example of why so many old larger chisels you find at yard sales are often bent. Panic mode in a wood shop makes everything look like a crowbar!
I have nothing but admiration for your tenacity, creativity and passion for achieving the best end result. Tamar thank you for making this video for us, for sharing your struggles and your joy. (I still think you used that levitation device from the speeder in Star wars)
