Building a Coffee Table
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
My humble thank you for over 1000 subscribers!
This coffee table was made from beetle injured pine that had some natural discoloration by some kind of blue stain fungus. This was my first try at making mortise and tenon joinery in an actual project. Some joints came out a little loose so i did not want to rely on wood glue to secure them, but had to resort to the blasphemy of using polymer glue in the joints.
As the video was getting quite long, i decided not to include the making of the drawer.
Table specs:
WxBxH: 76 cm x 76 cm x 50 cm
weight: approx. 30-40 kg
finish: dark oak carnauba based wax, buffed with #000 steel wool
Пікірлер: 550
love that you let the sounds of the wood and tools do all the commentary. So peaceful.
Really like the clean lines and that you included a drawer! Great work! Thanks for sharing your projects!
I learned some great tips from this video! These tips are AMAZING!!! Great work! Thanks for sharing your projects!
I am a visual learner, and I appreciate the style of the video. Thank you!

It truly helps to have the right tools for the project AND most importantly, know how to use them.
wow.. Thank you.. i never see something like this before..
Honestly, good job and full of engineering thinking. I like using the tenon joints more than most of other people using pocket holes. Please share more.
Incredible craftsmanship! Great job!
I now understand why decent furniture costs so much. A lot of times and skill goes into these things!

Don't be uncritical. Not everything is done in the easiest way. Doing it with a chisel at 5:25 or 6:30 is an excess of form over substance.
Mate, that is by far, the best construction video I've ever seen, and I've seen hundreds. You used the video medium to perfection, perfectly paced, and didn't use a single spoken word. Love your work.
Very nice! Excellent job!
Beautiful craftsmanship and wonderful array of tools. Bravo
I like how unorthodox your approach to wood- and metalworking is, very inspirational!

This woodworking book t.co/oLg9l5gL3F contains a great deal of details about woodwork. There are some designs in the book but it is primarily explaining the procedure of how to do various things and what tools to use to accomplish them. In general, this book fulfilled my basic desire to learn about wood working.?
Excellent work. Many thanks for avoiding obnoxious background music.
Good job! Keep up the great work.
Beautiful project, tnx for sharing it with the world!!! :D
