Great video. I love the balance between the sense of urgency and “it’ll get done when we get to it”. Inspiration at its finest. Also putting the works in the final build is amazing!

As someone who bought a van to convert, then upped their cats from 1 to 2, then had a surprise little girl, it's encouraging to see that at least the pros find it tricky too. The mental gymnastics are real!

I have to say nice video and your patience is amazing and your kitties are so cute, but I couldn't give it my full attention because I was looking at your cute haircut Scarlet. I just cut mine short and it's not as cute as yours. I am going to take the video to my salon to show them how cute it is so I can copy it. Its adorable.😊

You guys make it look so easy! It’s nice to see all the hard work you put in. I know the cats are helping when the cameras are off.

I LOVE showing the Reality of the van build. It's WORK! And for that reason, for now, I plan on just building out the back of my truck with an ARE shell (a lil practice) and done and travel. Maybe a Van will come later, like after these ridiculous high interest rates on Used vans have subsided, and I have saved more to pay someone to help, cuz...It's WORK! Hard WORK! Kudos, keep going, inch by inch. Bye for now.

You're certainly right about it being harder, I just spent *over an hour* driving round looking for the right sort of hinges for the cabinets (I didn't even know there were that many different kinds of hinge!). Absolutely love your inspiring and expertly presented content.

It's just with the buzz cut, your face looks more beautiful but longer hair covers ur forehead and really foreshadows the cuteness... PS--> U Both Are Amazing... And I really hope one day I'm able to make my own camper with a fixed toilet like you guys made a few years back....

from a former pro painter... get the bucket opener. AND when pouring from the "five" gallon. Do it backwards (this keeps the air from burping paint everywhere). The hole on top not bottom.

The standing shower makes the space look much more cramped. I thought you hit a home run with the hidden shower in the bench. Curious as to what was the pros and cons for the bench shower that made you choose the permanent shower?

We have loved our bench shower, but honestly it’s mainly just for privacy with the bathroom as well as the fact that this is a larger wheel base van so it feels like we have some extra space since we’ve always been in a short wheelbase van! We also stay pretty active while we travel so it’s nice to quickly rinse off rather than setting up the convertible shower then letting it dry etc. for space saving, ease of building and cost effectiveness though the pop up shower wins by a long shot.

Im curious why you chose roman clay over limewash paint? They look really similar.

Roman clay has a sealer coat that creates an easy to clean surface where as lime wash or micro cement is rougher and much more difficult to keep clean in a van!

We will be posting more in depth information specifically on this van in the future on patreon but do have quite a bit of information to help you build a van currently. That being said, don’t get to caught up in replicating something, build it for you! A good resource for power information is explorist.life on KZread!

It's visible you guys are tired and no longer want to build vans, so you're struggling to get up, spending more time scrolling social media to avoid having to do something you don't want to do, etc. It's almost over you two, hang in there.
