I am really getting into feeding the birds here in Susanville. We don't get as many of those larger types of birds that swarm and devour. But we do get a plentiful amount of the little guys that come in big groups. So much fun and so beautiful.
I have had this building kit for a long time but never had the desire to use it until now. It is really supposed to be for children but I had to have it. Available on Amazon, I think. It's been a long time so you can do the search. 3 in 1 building kit, wooden. It's a great activity to do with the kids or the grands.
Please enjoy the mellow sounds of tinkering (Which is one of my huge triggers) and watch the bird house emerge from parts & pieces.

I really like that you make both talking and non-talking versions of your videos! I love spoken ones when I’m able to pay more attention to them or feel more stressed, but it’s also really nice to have non-spoken ones on when working or reading just to have some “company.” Thank you for what you make (and I hope the birds enjoy their new house 😊)!

I agree with that thinking, Ashley. Although, sometimes I can't have any going or I can't get anything done because I will melting into my chair and go into a trance. 😂

How amazing is that kit with 3 separate things to build!!! I love when you chuckle at yourself😅😅😅 I always say it's a bit foreign when you don't do it everyday no matter how simple the project. It would be like most men trying to do a makeup tutorial.😂😂😂 You did great!❤

This would be a good alternative to a cooking video that I'd like. I like watching assembly of things, small to complex. Now a little bird Mom out there will have a place to lay her eggs. I had generations of little Wrens born in a hanging flower pot on my porch. I always enjoyed seeing that in the Spring. Let us know if a bird moves in.

I love that, CJ. 🥰 Turns out, I ended up using it as a birdseed feeder. Many reasons which I am not going to explain. in any case, I am thrilled to watch the flocks that come to both feeders. These birds are so different than the ones in the south, except for the Blue Jays, which are very similar. Yellow seems to be the predominant color here. I am simply mesmerized.
I don't usually see bird houses in my area often, but the idea of watching little birds going to it is adorable. And I like the set up, Rebecca. This one is similar to how my aunt decorates her dining table. Enjoyable, as always.

I also build bird houses out of scrap wood and jewelry boxes. Custom pen boxes . I even built a wooden box for my tools that fits in my vehicle. I own a 2002 Nissan exterra. So it fits in the back. I also have made picture frames.

That's an excellent idea! Something like this, a mother will always love. And you should probably buy her a little bag of birdseed just get her started. Unless you're using it for a real birdhouse. Then you can put some feathers in there or something soft for the birds to make a nest with.

@@KamisatoAyatoILoveYou I do feed my birds here! When we first moved here, we had no birds. Once we started leaving out seed, many birds have come to live around here in our trees. So happy and excited. And so are the cats. 😅❤
