ASMR Darwin's Journey around the World (Soft Spoken, Tracing, Book Sounds)

Hey everyone! Today I'd like to invite you on a journey around the world with Charles Darwin. For four years he travelled aboard the HMS Beagle as scientist. The notes he took during that period were later published as "The Voyage of the Beagle" and provided the foundation for developing the theory of evolution.
We're going to take it slow and trace the route on a map, plus take a look at some of the beautiful fotos featured in this new edition. Triggers include map tracing, book sounds, soft spoken voice with an Austrian accent.
And two notes: I apologize for the somewhat erratic upload schedule this month, but I'm almost done moving places and everything should go back to normal now!

There's something about this video that make it my favorite to fall asleep to. I guess it's the consistently slow-paced cadence and soft, whispery tones of your speech (which all your videos have), but in this one they are really maintained throughout, with very little average-paced speech or average volume slipping in at all. Thank you for all the tingles and relaxation - I'm so grateful for you and this channel!
That was absolutely marvelous! Could you do other famous trips, such as other expeditions or voyages, or maybe even Jules Vernes' fictional 80 day trip around the world?

I'm very particular about ASMR and you and Gentle Whispering are the only artists I actually listen to. I'm not surprised your subscriber count has jumped so much in the past year, you are a really marvelous, and incredibly interesting artist! These are just fantastic and I I want to encourage you to make more the way you caress the book and show beautiful pictures and histories in these large picture books and the ones about art history. I just extraordinary work and I look forward to more thank you so much.

You must do a lot of preparation work, but it seems effortless the way it slips off the tongue beautifully, thank you, wish I had history teachers with your wonderful accent at school, i would have taken more notice. But listening to you at 70 am still learning

Found your channel a couple of days ago and subscribed immediately. Truly amazing. In this video just wanted to add that this book you were reading it's actually quite accurate. Thought at first why call it just Patagonia and not Argentina (my country) but then when you said the year was 1834 or so I understood it was just right because these were very troubled days in all South America. Wars of Independence from Spain to be precise. Patagonia was as big as half Argentina at the time and belonged to many aboriginal tribes. Some forty years later our government at the time started the horrible Desert campaign and killed most of them and took their land, being one of the excuses the fear that the English would invade Patagonia. The irony.

I love all your videos, but these historical journeys are my favorite. Have you thought about doing the Lewis and Clark Expeditions of the United States frontier?
