Hello Sjef, congrats to this project! 😀 After 2 nights concidering, if I shoud🤔 ..or not, my impatient nature was working through the BOM with the conclusion, I must have it! :-) 2 days and one parcel from Minnesota later got almost all parts to my hands. Still waiting for the PCBs to arrive by the very far east.. I'll keep you updated! Best regards from SW Germany!

Great job on your project! I also came across the si4684 but the thought of investing more than 10€ just on a bga that also needed other work and components was a bit daunting

Hallo Sjef, vielen Dank für die Informationen zu den schönen Projekt zu den DAB+ Empfänger. Ich hab den ersten Beitrag vor 9 Tagen gesehen und jeden Tag nachgesehen ob es was Neues gibt. Ich möchte das Projekt nachbauen und nachfragen nach Händler für den SI4684 und TPA6130A. Können die ICs mit der Hand gelötet werden? Du hast einen Bausatz vielleicht angekündigt. Das TEF6686 ESP32 Radio hab ich schon nachgebaut und es ging sofort mit guten Empfang. Nun hoffe ich auf das DAB+ Radio. No, DAB+ radios have some new audio codecs like AAC. You can't convert old DAB radios which only can decode MP2 codec.

Hi, possibly a webshop will launch a kit. The SI4684 and TPA61302 can be hand soldered, but note, they are in QFN casing.
