Pretty solid deck, but removing surprise strike should be a crime. Such a great card for trading up or ending the game.

Its for draft purposes. The designer wanted a card like surprise strike in the draft format but didnt want two copies in premier!
Ugh, that is a bad Rare pull for Limited. :/ Uncommon is probably a different story.

That’s the luck of the draw tho! I’m glad we got a “bad pool” because with the right build and good pilot this pool can still win an event!
So can you play any card without a penalty in prerelease?
