Smuggle Han Solo sounds soo fire 😭

Smuggle is going to be strong in my Blue Sabine deck. It uses high value cards as resources now I can add Smuggle to the deck and cheat the big cards in to play.

Will we get a a leader card that enters the space arena instead of the ground arena? Example would be Han Solo pilot that instead of going to the ground when he flips over from being a leader he would go to the space arena

If youve got all smuggle cards in your deck, would it just keep replacing with more smuggles?

The DL44 costs the same to play normally in a cunning deck as it does to smuggle because the aspect penalty is the same as the additional resources to smuggle.

Can we get a snuggle mechanic when Ewoks come to the game? Lol

I can see it happening, but they'll probably work through the canon movies and television shows first. We'll probably see multi-era comic and novel characters peppered in here and there too. I am very hopeful for an entire High Republic set though.

Quick rules question. Jabbas rancor is on the board exhausted. Janna is flipped and a unit can be captured. Can a space unit be captured by an exhausted unit with this trigger?

What happens with smuggle when you don’t have any cards left in deck? 😬

The empty deck rule will probably apply. Which is if you go to draw a card without having a deck left, you deal 3 damage to your base.

Question 🤔...Your words were a Captured card leaves play and gets turned upside down now the question is...When a Captured card returns in play and it has an on play effect does it trigger? Because it technically left play and is returning into play later... hopefully 😅

Here's a question concerning Captured cards. When you rescue them, I get they go back into play exhausted. Do "On Play" effects trigger again? For instance would you be able to trigger Ambush again? How about with Millenium Falcon which says it enters play ready, would it still enter ready in this case (I would assume yes)?

My bet is no, while not playable, they never leave the play area. That's like the difference in games between playing/dropping. You are not playing the captured cards on your side, they are simply returning to their area.

@@Satelesentinels They do leave play. One of the questions asked was if they leave play to trigger Boba Fetts ability, which they said yes. I do agree that I doubt on play effects would trigger again, but I'd assume effects like Falcon coming into play untapped or if there are eventually units with "when a unit enters play" would trigger.

Ambush definitely wont trigger cost its a "when played" ability. Rescuing is not re-playing the card. But the falcon 'comes into play' might be confusing. This is what I've been saying for a long time now. FFG should start using "leaves arena" than "leaves play". A captured unit leaves the arena but still in play so the "leaves play" and "enters play" should not trigger. If that's their intention. The same way when a leader unit (particularly Mando) guarding a captured unit was defeated, the captured unit will be released though technically Mando didnt left play, only left the arena.

They should errata the "leaves play" to "leaves arena" for capture ability so it wont be confusing for defeated leader unit guarding a captured unit

Do you have to memorize what is in your resource pool or are you permitted to look at what cards were chosen as a resource?

we are allowed to look at resource cards anytime we like, the better question is, are we allowed to switch untapped resource with a tapped resource, thats relevant if you wanna use the smuggle ability or Lando's 'return up to 2 resource cards to hand' ability, you definitely want to return the tapped resources instead, the answer is yes, tapping resource cards is just a representation of spent resources, we may change which particular card to represent spent resource at anytime

Please bring the game to Argentina :( I buyed an Starter 2 player box and i'm loving it, but it's hard to find more content..

Smuggle will make it SO HARD to know what your opponent is doing. You are never sure if 'the opponents hand is empty' so to speak. Compared to Magic: The Gathering, you can always be sure, at some time, that the opponent can not do anything you can't expect. With Smuggle, that moment only comes when the other player has extremely low resources, AND no cards in hand. Something that just won't happen (a lot at least).

Random question about aspects I can’t find answer to. Do upgrades also give the unit its aspect? Situation: Would Devotion give Echo Base Defender Vigilance aspect to trigger Cargo Juggernaut?

You can’t find the answer because no one thought this would need to be answered. Given that you’re not finding a game rule for “unit attachments give the attached unit the attachments aspects” you can safely assume it doesn’t do that.

How can Timely Intervention be a common card? It is so strong. I will play my 9 cost card with this 1 cost card and give it ambush?? I mean either this card is broken or I misunderstood something...

You will still have to pay the 9 cost, along with the cost to play the smuggled card.

^^^ When a card asks you to play a card, it doesn't mean "play that card without paying its cost". You still have to pay its cost.

Concerned about the strength of smuggle. Seems like free resourcing and cheap cards late game unless there's an effective way to shut it down. Almost reads like it would be more balanced if you didn't replace the resource. Basically banking a card as a resource to bail you out later

I think smuggle is fairly well Balanced, the increased cost is great for balance but most importantly the resource you put back down is random meaning you may put down key cards and pieces you need essentially By accident, smuggling can be a give and take of value that it determined by how consistent your deck is or thematically how much you’re willing to gamble on not hitting a piece you need accidentally to resources where you can essentially never get it back

Hopefully all of the smuggle cards are bad. Card advantage leaders already struggle enough.

This is a problem with Magic in making new mechanics in every set and this game is already heading that way.

TLDR: -Bounty is Enchant creature-Curse -Capture is Fiend Hunter -Smuggle is Lands with Morph costs

Yes, but cards with smuggle do not need to be smuggled. I believe the lands with morph must first be played as a land. Plus they are unknown to the opponent as a resource.

I can't even buy Spark of the Rebellion packs because you jerks didn't think about the supply and demand. And trying to buy them online when people have them marked up %200 is ridiculous.

Why does jeremy look so uncomfortable. He is all tucked in to himself.

Probably because he's on a livestream to thousands of ppl who will scrutinize the details. Good on the designers for doing something like this, especially if it makes them uncomfortable - game design quality from the team is what we need them to excel at, not public speaking. Having the designers do these brings a great insight and shows their passion, so a big thank you to them all.

Wrong. The whole game doesn't stop moving forward due to a supply issue with set 1. That's ridiculous.
