First Gen full frame Explorers are indestructible. The OHV motors love high revs. If they have oil and coolant in them they will run. These Jeeps are played out unibody junk Chrysler products a far cry from their Willys ancestors.

I’m on team actual car show

As someone who lives in the rust belt, I'm super jealous watching you guys disassemble these rust free vehicles with ease. One of our East Coast clunkers would eat up the entire allotted time just fighting crispy fasteners.

First Gen Explorer Sports with the manual transfer case are pretty rare, badass trucks. Fixed all the problems with the Bronco ii.

GR8 IDEA BRING THIS TYPE OF SHOW BACK, JUST WITH REAL DEAL BUILDERS FOR ALL WALKS OF LIFE,,,,, FREAKEN RADD,,, GOOD CONTENT AHEAD ,,,KEEP DOING YOUR THING GUY'S .....PEACE

If they want to use a I-6 jeep they'd better put some baffles in the oil pan, no oil pressure at idle is fine, but at 5000rpm you need it.

It's been done. I did some repair work on a Land Cruiser from Dubai that had S-chassis suspension grafted on and a big LS motor.

Two legendary vehicles that would perform far better off road when compared to their current models today.

10k sounds nice and all but you guys should definatly do diffrent price brackets or something like 5k or just something like a super cheap budget

I think every project car I've owned has ended up about 10k within a few years no matter how much I spent originally seems like you end up around there in the end haha. I think 10k is perfect for this. It's reachable for anyone serious about a build and they won't suck so bad that the comp will be shit.

I own a Jeep commander limited and mustang but I’ll still talk shit Jeep just empty every pocket I’ve never had issues with either but this competition should be interesting that year explorer can take a beating shoulda went for a 5.0 though the Jeep just has a bigger aftermarket
