I have a brand new tank for a '73 Riviera I can't use anymore. Looks like the one you pulled. If the cross reference numbers are the same, you can have it. My Riv turned out to be waaaaaay more rusted than I thought and would be way too difficult and/or expensive for me to fix... I'm relatively local to you.

@@edbr2905 Just a heads up for the future, when it comes to the comments section and posting links, KZread doesn't allow us to post outside links. They just won't show up. We can only post other youtube links in the comments. Something about protecting the kids or something. So if anyone does have any links for the fuel tank they would be better off trying to email. Hope this helps avoid any more issues.

That’s a gem of an engine in that sucker, and mated to a solid trans.. In 68, I believe the new 350 was the only engine option - in the standard and high performance flavors. I have a 1967 Skylark I have been tinkering on for a number of years now - it’s got a standard 300 and the ST-300 with Switch Pitch, which never worked as long as I had it. Very recently, I overhauled the trans, found a couple NOS solenoids, rebuilt the throttle switches and made the Switch Pitch function as intended. Crazy gimmick, but really enjoyable experiencing its actual effectiveness first hand. These old cars are really something.

My first car, at 14, was a 1968 Lesabre 400, 2 door hatrdtop. Kind of similar story and mine was also the same color as your 4 door. Bought it with my summer money for $200 in about 1999 where it sat in a salvage for years. Got the engine free, put a carb on it and it ran. Held onto it for a while. Sold it in about 2013 for $1,000 with no engine or trans to a guy from out of state. Well, it somehow made it's way back to my tiny town and now sits just a few blocks from me in a random field of cars that the guy just holds onto as with everything in his yard. He won't sell anything. Hate seeing it just sit and rot. Beautifal body lines on these cars. Great job on it man. Love the channel.
