Bugsy Siegel’s charming personality and celebrity looks would see him mix with the elite of Hollywood. However, his rise to notoriety saw him get involved in violence and murder during the prohibition era.
With financial backing from the criminal underworld, he would bring to life the Flamingo Hotel and casino in Las Vegas, which was thought to be a a front for legitimate business, as well as a way for the criminal underworld to launder money. This however would be his downfall as he was suspected of stealing money from the business, leading to his mob associates ordering his death.
