Bugs Bunny | Merrie Melodies “Hillbilly Hare" (1950) REACTION

Фильм және анимация

#BugsBunny #MerrieMelodies #Melblanc
Bugs Bunny “Hillbilly Hare” a cartoon classic from the golden age of cartoon animation, debut in 1950, Directed by Robert McKimson, staring Mel blanc know as man with 1000 voices and John T. Smith
Bugs Bunny is vacationing in the Ozarks and stumbles into the territory of two hillbilly brothers, Curt and Punkinhead Martin. The brothers figure Bugs as being a member of the clan they are feuding with and make several attempts to shoot him. Bugs foils them each time. Curt and Punkinhead are determined to get revenge on Bugs for their humiliation. Bugs easily outsmarts them and eventually, dressed as an attractive hillbilly girl, tricks them into doing a square dance.
We definitely need a Mel Blanc biopic movie, if they ever did a film about him, who do you think should be casted? 😊

I love the way bugs uses drag to trick his clueless enemies like these guys, Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd. This is one of Robert McKimson 's very best cartoons.

This is one of my favorite cartoons, period! Thanks for the reminder it's McKimson's because it's so good I always keep thinking it's one of Tex Avery's; however it's not really wild enough for one of his!

My dad used to have the audio for this on his computer in one of his playlists. He’d listen to it while working, and if that tune came on we kids got SO EXCITED and HAD to listen to it. We always wound up laughing!

You see I don't remember this as a kid but I do recall bugs has been known to dress in drag but as a boy you never really got confused of why he was dressed as a girl but just found that it was basically funny. When I saw this vid for the first time I just had to record it somehow and kept it along with my other collection of vids. Bugs bunny is literally my totem animal. I noticed he uses a lot of reverse psychology against those trying to apprehend him. I think this was one of his best work. Whoever decided to create such a character was a total genius!!! :)

Probably the todays parents would say these old looney tunes / tom and jerry cartoons are really violent and a dangerous influence to children. But watching these as a little kid saying ow ooh that's got to hurt! actually taught me to never do these things in real life. Especially smoking cigarettes and my parents were smokers back then. But regardless, My eyes would be glued to the tv! 😂
