Three little bops, directed by Friz Freleng and staring Stan Freberg
Three Little Pigs are travelling entertainers, moving from straw to wood, to brick nightclubs, playing swinging tunes for high-class, "with it" crowds, but an uncool Big Bad Wolf keeps intruding on their act with his "corny horn" and uses it to blow down their nightclubs when they throw him out - until they are playing in their brick club and the Wolf tries a more drastic, explosive method for destroying the "House of Bricks".

"I wish my brother George was here", is what Liberace who was a flamboyant pianist😏 would say while playing the piano. May 16, 1919 February 4, 1987

George was not only Liberace's older brother, he was the musical director on his TV show in the mid-1950's {and occasionally appeared on camera as well, playing violin).

@@SilverScribe85 It’s said at the end of the cartoon. It’s a pun. Playing “hot” musically is being exceptionally good, fast and exciting. And being cool, especially in jazz, is playing in the groove with added extra stylings that are pleasing and out if the ordinary. The pun is that he went to hell to get hot, rather than played well. And now he’s cool.

One of Friz Freleng's best cartoons. Music always brought out the best in him. Great story in verse by Warren Foster. And Stan Freberg is the perfect narrator against Shorty Rogers' music.

I like how they took a classic children's story and reimagined a few parts by doing it as only Warner Brothers could during that time. This particular cartoon is definitely one of my favourites of the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies.

So are they rapping in 1957 over jazz music? I do believe they are,🤔🤨😁 The three little pigs crawled out of the rubble, This big bad wolf gives us nothing but trouble, We won’t be bothered by his windy tricks, The next place we play must be made of bricks, Sturdy place this house of bricks Built in 1776🤨 Bars 😂🤣😂 Well the Big Bad Wolf was really gone, and with him went his corny horn. Went out of this world without a trace, didn't go to heaven, was the other place😏 Bars 😂🤣😂
