    Regarding the punt gun, you’ll never believe what that kind of boat is called. You Harry Potter kids will know this… the boat is called a “punt”, thus the gun that you use and mount to the bow of the punt is called a “punt gun”. Put that in your trivia show.

    If you’re getting the shells custom made anyway, would it make a difference if you had a couple made with steel shot so you don’t have to worry about putting a pound of lead in the water for a test shot? I’m not sure if that would explode your barrel, or if that would have more to do with the amount of powder in the load.

  • @Sundog0811
    @Sundog08118 ай бұрын

    The powder would have just burned, but not violently like it does when its compacted in the shell. Ive had the same mishap happen with a .22 rim fire. Sometimes.we dont think about what we are doing.

    I learned to not try and bugle bulls in, just locate them. IF (and it's a big if) you can go fast and quiet enough elk hunting becomes more murder than hunting. I quit hunting years ago and don't mind sharing this info because 99% of you will never get it. Dream on and I'm rooting for the elk.

    When a "hunter" uses the term "murder" when talking about hunting ... I get very suspicious that they are full of sh!t and aren't what they say they are. I get former hunters losing interest bc it got too easy, or disappointed with over harvesting.... but using terms that are right out of PETA's handbook, I don't buy it
