Chouchou is the reason I fell in love with the show. Oda giving a backstory to a random dog to drive home the main theme of the series that treasure is something different to everyone made me see that the show was gonna be something deeper than just a goofy and fun pirate adventure

After watching OPLA it actually makes a lot more sense for Luffy's grandfather to start chasing him as soon as he sets off on his pirate adventure rather than holding off on capturing him later hundred of episodes.

About ChouChou - yeah, that one still hurts. No matter how many times I see it. And no, it's not just a dog. It's Oda letting you know that he is now in charge of your emotional well-being.

You will not forget the spoiler! It won't ruin the show for you, but it will make you have a different opinion for quite a while about certain things

I believe ChouChou is based of a real story. Do you know the name "Hachiko"? He was a dog who waited for his owner who died and never returned. Hachiko waited for 9 years for his return until his own death. During his lifetime, the dog was held up in Japanese culture as an example of loyalty and fidelity. His faithfulness to his master's memory impressed the people of Japan as a spirit of family loyalty to which all should strive to achieve. Since his death, he continues to be remembered worldwide in popular culture with statues, movies and books. Its really heartbreaking 😢 you can see Oda was inspired by that story too and made this story Nice reaction cant wait for more cheers from Austria :)

Trust me when u watch one piece live action ur not gonna forget about 100% cuz it's the most important spoiler and it's take a long time to realize what happened in anime but it's to face for live action n no one will forget about it 😭😭😭

Word of advice from one crier to another, always have a box of tissues nearby for this series because you'll never know when you'll need them. Also, I would watch the anime until episode 314 since the spoiler really shocks every reactor and is really unforgettable no matter how long it takes to get there, no one forgets the information but you do you and keep up the reactions!!!

Yes, it is a major moment, that is best experienced then. In live action it is used mostly as a B plot, to have some low budget cut-away scenes. Si it will take a lot from the moment.

Pro Tip watching One piece: always have a pack of tissues ready and don't read the episode titles the spoiler too much

if you think this is sad just wait for the later arcs, you will cry your eyes out, i'm a guy, i don't cry but even i get teary eyed at some of them.

HUGE spoiler in the LA starting episode 4, like stuff you dont find out until episode 312 or so and some stuff even a little bit later. If you don't care too much go ahead with it, but it is a pretty big spoiler, but the story has so much to it some people may say it is not that big of a deal since there are still so many more things you do not know yet. Also, it is 1000% something you will not forget, it is like bascially impossible unless you undergo a sudden bout of amnesia haha it is pretty big. Just figured I'd give a warning as with some of the others.

When you watch the live action, will you still be posting the anime eps like normal? It does spoil, and not something you will forget. Plus, the characters are definitely not the same and it gives off a different feel. It's basically a parallel world version that is warped. Imo. It's not bad, but it's not One Piece.

It also puts a too much emphasis on an issue that doesn't get explored or explained till later on. That said, it's still not bad to watch. Just wanted to let you know it does spoil a bit. Why do you have to watch the live action? I don't. It's definitely not better or more detailed than the anime. It's a waste of good anime time if you ask me.
