I've always wanted to visit Buford Pusser's home . I read in a comment once that Elvis came to the house when Buford passed away, but I wasn't sure if it was true or not . I'm so glad you asked her about that . I didn't know about the connection with Johnny Cash either . Love that picture of Buford Pusser , Johnny Cash, and Billy Graham . I remember my grandparents having some end tables just like that in their house back when I was growing up too . Thanks for sharing this video with us !!

Nice production Stephen, very respectful. I had stopped in there last week coming down from Chicago for the day, while doing a video there. Sadly for me, no one was home at the museum. After viewing your video here, I see I really missed out. Buford was a hero of mine also, like so many of us. I just now put a link to your video here in the description for a production that I did on Buford, which released a few days ago. Unfortunately I did not see your video yet, so I did not have on there when mine was published. Otherwise I think you would have received a bunch of hits here ...well, hopefully some stragglers from my channel will still come visit soon. ---- All the Best, Ron C.

I’m glad you are releasing videos again! Keep them going! The movie is great and so much more accurate than the Rock’s. That thing is laughable. Of course the original has Red in it too.

Elvis visited Buford's home the day of Buford's funeral and that's a fact . We Managed Dwana Pusser until she passed away two years ago , Dwana confirmed this as well as Steve Sweat who is a Buford Pusser historian who we also currently work with Confirmed this as well

After seeing that Mike had a bedroom there I remembered in Buford’s Biography that it was stated that Mike was Buford’s stepson. And at the time Buford returned to Tennessee and became sheriff, Mike was already a young adult and out living on his own. Whereas in the movies they portrayed him as a young boy.

Couldn't Elvis have slipped away from his Vegas concert to visit Buford's hometown the same way he slipped off to The White House to visit President Nixon and get a DEA badge? I wonder if Elvis ever thought about playing Buford?

Elvis wasn't performing in Vegas at the time he went to see President Nixon. Elvis went in December 1970 to visit Nixon.
