I enjoyed watching your video, sir. I believe Brud mentioned these Mustangs once upon a time during one of the many good long talks he and I used to have. Ol Mr. Brud was a fine fine man and groundskeeper for Mr. Charlie and the homeplace acresTwin Pines Ranch. I often wonder how he's been or if he's even still around. I'd be glad to talk to or visit some of his kinfolk if they're around these parts nowadays. This is Josh Conder of Lebanon, btw. Y'all take care now.
Thank y'all for rescuing those two classic mustang charlie daniels would be proud seeing them rescued and being restored

Sad he just left them rot. Very sad.
My hometown miss good ol Charlie Daniels R.I.P to a great Artist
I've lived in Lebanon,Tn all my life. I grew up close to where Charlies farm is. I lived on Franklin road by Curly Putmans house. I would see Charlie pass my house almost everyday and he ALWAYS waved back at me. He was such a great fella.

This is phenomenal. Great find and great Charlie Daniels history. Thank you for sharing with us!
Great work Stephen - These are some great cars - the Elvis connection is very cool as well....
The cows, are hilarious! They actually stand around and watch? Unbelieveable!
Did you ever think you'd have an audience for pulling out 2 cars. Those Steer are great, Just standing there watching. Great. Charlie was awesome.
Yay!! So glad to see you back! Been looking EVERYWHERE for you! Subscribed AGAIN! 🤗 Can’t wait to see MORE !! Stay safe!!
I agree. Loved Charlie Daniels. Saw him in Houston at Gilleys one night. They didn’t announce him coming and we went down to pAsadena to party with some people. Low and behold we kept asking who’s playing tonight? They said if you’ve never been to gilleys before now you have lucked out. Don’t leave. Well weren’t leaving. Here walks in Charlie Daniels after the other band had Been playing and we were dancing. I about died. I was on the front row watching him for about a hour. Great fun. Then I finally went to dancing again.
But have liked Charlie Daniels. Since 1973. He rules. RIP
We saw Charlie Daniels perform at the Fresno County fair in Calif, in 1997...Jo Dee Macina (sp?) opened for him, the next night we saw Pam Tillis....2 weeks later, saw Garth Brooks 2 nights in a row at Fresno State University....saw Alan Jackson in Mt. View, Calif and George Straight in San Jose, Calif....that was a great year for country music....👏✌🏻🇺🇸
Amazing find from an amazing man Mr.Daniels🇺🇸 was a fine patriot
Interesting cars! I actually owned a '67 coupe in the same icky green color. Bought it in 1973, restored it...every part was still available new from Ford dealers. Put a 390 engine in it with 4 speed, and painted the car white. If I had that car today and was restoring it, I probably would not have gone in the same direction! But then, it was a $100 used car when I got it. Has a '65 coupe and a '67 convertible bought new. Wish I still had them! On the other hand, every sheet metal part for those cars is available now on the repop market, some made on original tooling. A friend recently restored...actually resurrected a '67 convertible, using more replacement parts than he intended, but he's a perfectionist, and owns a body shop! Car looks absolutely NEW.
This video brought me back to a good memory, & a little story to tell- A little over 20 years ago I was quite fortunate & consider myself a lucky guy to check this one off my "bucket list"- I watched Charlie Daniels play "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" live at the Tacoma Dome (in Tacoma, Wa, lol), somewhere around 1999 or 2000? (I can't remember what year it was exactly). I do remember- that this particular date on the tour was his birthday & he believe was turning 64 that day... Talk about some seriously badass violin work! I was nice & close to the stage, & approximately 15ft from the master himself while he shreaded those bow strings! (kinda sorta like Jimmy Page did when playing "Dazed & Confused" live (just not quite as intense...). It was freakin' incredible! Now I'm not really a fan of "country music", but I have always enjoyed the good ol' "outlaw country" (a huge difference from the "mainstream/popular" country). Good ol' Charlie D. was an O.G. outlaw country boy to the bone, which is why, when I was offered a free ticket to drive a bunch of my girl friends (two words, not one) to the show, of course I said "Oh hells yeah! Cuz y'all KNOW he's gonna play The Devil Went Down to Georgia!" And that he did, very well, on his 64th birthday! And I was right up there to watch him & listen to it & dance with my drunk ass friends to it! Thanks again Charlie!! R.I.P. ol' buddy...
In South Dakota we loved Charlie Daniels!
VERY COOL! You always have such unusual finds!!
Great to see you back. 💖 🇬🇧
Thank you ThankYou very much Stephen Rockology for sharing this great video TCB 🇨🇦👑🇺🇸⚡️
Great vid............................. 👍👍
Those are Beautiful cars. I've still got a 69 convertible Chevelle, I sold the 68 convertible Chevelle a while back. I can't wait to see those Mustangs in the future
We have my dads 66 convertible v8; with a front bench seat! I remember looking under the carpet and seeing the road and thinking it was a Flintstones car. He wouldn't let me work on it so i bought a 69 4dr cutlass during the cash for clunkers, saved it from the crusher. Gotta keep these old cars going! Kinda want to put a electric motor in the cutlass for longevity...
I transport vehicles from time to time --- Watching this was very difficult for me. Ha Ha... --> I kept yelling at y'all through the monitor. I'm surprised you didn't hear me. LoL :) -- It hurts me -- Burger money!! Love the Daniels trivia. I never knew that he wrote a song that Elvis sang. But I was fortunate enough to get to see him in concert - but only once. My wife and I went to Las Vegas and he was playing. I believe that he said that he was seventy-two at the time. I was comletely blown away at how good the show was. He was playing like he was thirty years old, not seventy two. The music was dead on, the band was hot, and so was Charlie's playing and general showmanship. I mentioned to my wife that I thought that was the best concert that I had ever seen. I was in awe at how good they were. Always looking forward to seeing your vids. Keep up the good work!
Love the Mustang convertible.
Glad to see your back and hope you keep making new vids soon

Tell George Hello
Great find, the convertible might be a 641/2 looks like it has a 260 v8 with no fender badging of a v8. I hope they get restored.
Great to see you back on KZread. Good luck
The problem with Mustangs is , there are very few of them that are worth restoring, even with a possible Charlie Danials provenance, unfortunate. but economically true. Its almost the same with most Elvis bought Caddilacs, he bought and gave away so many ( rumored 70 - to over 160 ) unless he actually drove it ,,its just a car ,
thanks for sharing this video with us all take care on tour from england
Bet ‘Charlie’ got a kick out of all this !!??🤣🙏🏼✌🏼✨
Would love to see the restoration process!
Very cool
Naturally, only the simple man’s convertible would have that ultra rare green carpet.. lol
Great choice good cars!
Roll backs work nice.
Was that Thurman on the tractor ???
Oh my lord 67 mustang green it's rare now had one wish it was still there.6 cylinder manual 3 gear loved it but when your young and stupid the old mouse means nothing then now it means plenty
I was missing this channel!!!!!!😀
Miss Hazel and Thurman Mullins still keeping the Horned Herefords and Quarter Horses from the Original Bloodlines that Charlie appreciated so well? I sure hope so.
Nice red one
The devil went up to Tennessee, for a 66 Mustang convertible he wanted to see. It was kind of rough, And in need of some stuff But still as neat as could be.
I can see the devil red C code convertible, But I can't picture Charlie in a six cylinder coupe. He must have bought it for his wife.

If it's red from the factory, it's a color called "Rangoon Red" (common to the entire North American Ford lineup in the 1960's).
I want that
I hope we get to see them after being restored. My daughters dream car is a red convertible mustang.
Like hood on green ☝️
I did get to see Charlie in a live concert one time, front row center. Hell of a show. Anyways, I don't think these cars will bring a hell of a lot of money, most of the people that would really want them are not rich people, Charlie was popular with the common man I do hope they get restored to at least driver quality, and they get driven, not just put on display somewhere.
looks like the red mustang was still in park for a automatic,, what a bout the green one on that trailer...
It is amazing what connects yo Elvis great job
So Many of those green-gray Fords sold ... *4 Bolt* Wheels ⁉ Musta' been a 6 Banger ~ betcha' that stick shifts a 3 Speed ! AND ℹ'd rather have *that* 'stang than any V8 , 6 speed 👌
A shame they sat so long. Glad they are being restored
Maybe his song titled passing lane was inspired by his. Mustangs
Were these six cylinder cars?
Surprised Charlie would've bothered with a 6-banger?? Original paint though, and I'll bet it was nice and cheap. Color-matched whls would mean it was a factory dog-dish hubcap car, too ;)
Is that Sissy's car from Urban cowboy????
⚡️⚡️TCB ⚡️⚡️
You got the Titles with Charlie's name on them, hopefully. '65 had a poor-quality repaint, that's why its in worse shape. Also, running 15" Cutlass wheelcovers, surprised to see that. I bet those were his girlfriend's cars, can't imagine ole Charlie driving those RIP
Actually i like the 68 better. Has a stick. Is 3 or 4 speed
I'm surprised that convertible is in decent shape. Normally see them rotted in half.
4 lug???
Im goin to be an activist for abandoned and abused. Old classic cars and trucks.
And im more of a Mopar fan than Ford. The were better cars. But thats just my 2 cents.
