Your makeup looks incredible, especially the eyes! Would love a tutorial on how this look was done. You could mix it with a session on how different makeup can affect skin conditions or makeup that's easy on sensitive skin.

I love the new CereVe foaming oil cleanser! Non drying or oily residue and removes all my minimal make up including eyes. So much better than their original versions for me. It’s a keeper!

I appreciate this list and the detailed descriptions, I had my eyes for some time on the Timeless serum . The only product I have tried last year was the La Roche-Posay B5 and my skin was moisturised but the cream was very comedogenic. I just stopped using it and the painfull whiteheads went away. As a replacement the La Roche Posay Toleraine Dermalergo is also good and safer to use for my usualy dry skin.

Discussing less expensive products is always appreciated. I tried the timeless vitamin c but my skin just can’t tolerate the low ph. Water-based ascorbic acid serums always have a low ph but this one seems extra. My favorite timeless product is their CoQ10 serum- 2% CoQ10, matrixyl 3000 (& hyaluronic acid but not the super small kind. My go to cleansers are the Neutrogena ultra gentle hydrating cleanser (not the foaming one) and Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser. They are both fragrance free and glycerin based. I’m not sure why the cerave hydrating cleanser gets mentioned so much but I think both of these are more effective but still as gentle. I haven’t tried the Vanicream yet. Keep the videos as long as you want. I enjoy hearing you talk about skincare.

You sometimes mention that skincare should be a consistent, but flexible, routine that spans past just day/night time routines. Could you film what you do over the span of a week to show how you read and respond to your skin as it changes? I have a hard time knowing why I get texture in the evening that I didn’t have in the morning and would like to know how I can tell what upset my skin. Thank you for all that you teach!!!

I noticed your makeup first thing! Looks great! Make the videos as long as you’d like. I’d like to know about what more I can do to fight forehead wrinkles and smoothing out skin texture. Using Trentinoin 2x a week, ROC other days, and all the pillowtalk derm. Maybe masks or chemical peel here and there?

Love the makeup! I would suggest tho that your left/my right side of your eye needs a bit more of the purple shadow to come up and over to match your right eye, which has more purple. Edit: I have been a MAC makeup artist for 9yrs.

@dizzieblonde Yes, I'm sure even in person, her artist and herself wouldn't/couldn't notice it. But pictures and video recordings pick up things our natural eyes can not. I've made the same 'mistake' myself in my earlier years of doing professional makeup. 🙈😬🙃

Thank you for the recommendations! Looking forward to the next round. I'm not sure if it's the lighting, angle, or a different method on each eye but the eye makeup appears to be uneven. Right eye has more dark shadow in the crease. You can notice it more when you look straight or down. That said the left eye looks better.

Aveeno is my favorite cleanser by far for a morning or second cleanse. It leaves my skin comfortable (not dry) with no residue.

Wow, you are just a wealth of information. I am so happy I found your videos. I have mature skin. I am already in my 50's and although I do try to take care of my skin, am very late in doing so. I have very dry skin. I am breaking out more now than when younger. I have stopped wearing make-up and am concentrating on using better serums, gels and moisturizers. I use several products from Vanicream (facial cleanser, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, bar soap and body cleanser). The facial cleanser is great for a 2nd step routine. I think a brown, bronzy ethereal look would look amazing on you. I think purple looks great on you, however the application is intense here.

Since the weather is changing my skin is getting drier. I’ve been using both the Eucerin Q10 cream and the La Roche Posay balm with great results.

A colleague of mine is 67 years and has used the old fashioned Nivea Creme (the blue metal box package) since she was a very young girl and her skin is absolutely amazing. The skin texture is like rose petals, her skin colour is perfectly even and looks beautifully hydrated and plumped. She says Nivea Creme is the only moisteriser she has used throughout time. It would be very interesting to hear your take on this.

I am the same age as this lady, and I think I look quite a bit younger than I am. My paternal grandmother lived to 94 and she looked to be about 40! No wrinkles, no skin texture!

For those who like a thicker cleanser- Burts Bees Sensitive is great and Eczema Foundation approved. For Moisturizer I love the Aveeno Oat Gel Moisturizer, which is a thicker form of the serum.

The consistency of the Weleda cleanser is, in my opinion, super similar to Albolene. Been using a huge jar of Albolene for the past while after seeing it recommended on Trixie Mattel's channel. Does a great job of removing my makeup and then the Vanicream face wash does a great job of removing any oily residue left over by the Albolene!
